The new interactive website Cape Cod Coastal Planner developed by the Cape Cod Commission illustrates how these variables could play out.     According to the Center for Disease Control, there are approximately ten deaths per day from unintentional drownings. More than 50% of those who survive drowning require hospitalization, and could suffer from minor to severe brain damage.
