PRAYER:  Lord, if You give me the discernment to recognize counterfeits, I will be ruthless with them. False messages will not take root in my heart. Establish in me only Your words, and let me live them without compromise.

TITLE: WHERE ELSE WOULD WE GO?

VERSE: Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.” JOHN 6:68

✔️ - After Jesus had finished preaching some difficult truths, and crowds of followers had left Him, all that remained were the Twelve.

✔️ - Sure, other teachers and other truths might be easier to understand

✔️ - God’s voice is a little like a song you love but can’t quite remember all the words to.

✔️ - We don’t want to be lied to.

TAKEAWAY:  And so we keep pressing into His presence to hear what He says because we need Him, love truth, and know His words are life.

PRAYER:  Lord...I know that You are always with me and that You love me as no one else can. Even though sometimes things get hard on this journey of life—and even though it feels like everyone around me has given up on me—You never will! That is why I continue to follow You every day of my life: because You never stop loving me or believing in me or wanting what is best for me.

✔️ - An orphan’s natural instinct is to try to become self-sufficient.

✔️ - “When you listen for My voice with an orphan mentality, you decide ahead of time that I will tell you what to do or how to change.

✔️ - Like an orphan who still isn’t comfortable in his adoptive father’s mansion, you refuse to heed My generosity, My encouragement, and My love

✔️ - Your perceptions of Me shape what you hear.

TAKEAWAY:  Always remember —be thoroughly convinced —that I have not abandoned you. I am with you every moment, closer than you realize.

PRAYER:  Father God, it’s true —I often hear what I expect You to say, and what I expect doesn’t reflect Your extravagant blessings and grace. Forgive me, and give me the ears of an adopted, adored child who expects Your warm embrace.

✔️ - “God is light and in Him is no darkness at all”

✔️ - He created us for glory.

✔️ - The Bible says that we were made in His image (Genesis 1:26).

✔️ - So it's essential for us to make sure our spirits are brightened up and shining!

✔️ - Have you ever felt like you're just going through the motions?

✔️ - That's why every aspect of our being was designed to be a contact point between us and Him—even our physical senses!

TITLE: RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

VERSE: The person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him. 1 CORINTHIANS 6:17

✔️ - When two people fall in love and get married, they become one flesh.

✔️ - They are joined to each other in a way that gives them the ability to know and represent each other's voices.

✔️ - This is how God sees us—as His bride.

✔️ - When it comes time for His judgment seat at the end of life, we will have done everything necessary for salvation

✔️ - The first time I heard this passage, I was blown away.

✔️ - But when I really thought about it, when my spirit became one with Christ's Spirit… wow.

TAKEAWAY:  That's why Jesus said, "On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you."

PRAYER:  Lord, I want to be one with You. I don't know how it works or what it feels like, but I do know that this is the close relationship I've longed for. Help me know Your thoughts with certainty and give me the words to share what is on my heart. Take Care, God Bless, and Make It A Great Day!

TITLE: DRY BONES, DRY BONES

✔️ - God showed Ezekiel a vision of a valley full of bones.

✔️ - The prophet speaks life and breath into them—and they come alive!

✔️ - The story is a beautiful illustration of something we all know...

✔️ - Making it into something so much more than it was before.

✔️ - If God could just speak his will to the world, why would He need us?

✔️ - At this moment, as you read these words, you are participating in an eternal process of creation!

TAKEAWAY:  God has called you into partnership with Him as He creates everything anew each day (see Genesis 1:1-3). It is through you that His will is being accomplished on earth.

PRAYER:  Lord, tell me what to say. Inspire my words and give life to the things I declare. ✔️ - then we forget that no human can guarantee the future.

✔️ - You see, history is full of experts who were proven wrong about something they were once absolutely sure about.

TAKEAWAY:  In the words of David Livingstone, God’s promises are “the word of a gentleman of the most strict and sacred honor." We can believe them always."

PRAYER:  Lord, help me live as someone who is anchored in reality, never moving from Your truth or questioning Your promises. THE POWER OF GOD'S WHISPER

TITLE: THE SPIRIT OF COMPLAINING

VERSE: The LORD said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt?” NUMBERS 14:11

✔️ - In the midst of a difficult situation, I would hear people complain about their circumstances.

✔️ - They would come through it fully supported.

✔️ - One day, when I had spent quite enough time hearing people complain about a situation they were going through...

✔️ - I thought about this for a long time after He said it. Complaining was an act of faith?

✔️ - If complaining is an act of faith, then what does that say about praise?

✔️ - The spirit of complaining is a virus that infects people and spreads quickly.

TAKEAWAY:  The result is greater sensitivity in our hearts to God’s nature and a greater bond of fellowship with His Spirit. When He shows us who He is, we have heard an invitation to draw closer.

PRAYER:  Lord, I know from my own experiences how hearts are affected by negativity. May I never grieve Your heart that way, and may I always be sensitive to Your reactions to the words of Your people. Expand my empathy with You. God Bless, Take Care, And Make It A Great Day!
