In addition, she co-managed the office of radio and TV for New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman. Most people in the construction industry downplay their own stories, believing that everyday work isn’t worth sharing. But the truth is, if you got out of bed today, you have a story. The challenge is recognizing those small but meaningful moments—like attending a parade or building with Legos as a kid—that shape who you are and why you do what you do. Storytelling starts with acknowledging the value of your own experience.
Being a great communicator starts with having a natural curiosity—not just about others, but about yourself too.
