We are in the endgame now. The time is almost upon us and Spider-Man: No Way Home is mere days (or day if you’re listening to this the day it releases) and we have you covered for a preview, as if we haven’t done that enough. Before that though, we dive into the third of our trilogy of Spider-Man franchise retrospectives as we look back at how Tom Holland’s Peter Parker got to No Way Home as well as a review and critique of his appearances as the webslinger. At some point, we have to ask ourselves: “Is Andrew Garfield the best Spider-Man?” We will attempt to answer this question in Episode 20 of The Project Infinite Podcast as we continue our month of Spider-Man content with film retrospectives of “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” We break down the fabulous portrayals of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacey by Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. We talk story beats that did (and mostly didn’t work) and a few underrated villain performances. We make the case that those movies are not as bad as you remember and Andrew Garfield is even better than you remember. Episode 19 of The Project Infinite Podcast is kicking off our Spider-Month! From this episode until our review of Spider-Man: No Way Home, we are bringing you up to speed on all things live action Spider-Man.
