  • Ep10 - Asking For Help Shows Strength, Not Weakness

LISTEN UP, PEOPLE. In today's episode, I take the episode ~solo~. We start by catching up by chatting about what's going on with me and how I am doing during this time. After a short five minutes of that... we dive into today's content about asking for help, being comfortable with being uncomfortable, and knowing that we need this in order to grow and change. I get a little vulnerable by telling a story that recently happened to me and a change I decided to make for myself. I had to get over my fear of asking for help. Want to know the tea? Better get listening! I then tie everything together with poll responses from my followers on Instagram that truly proves that you are not alone in what you're going through. Take chances for yourself. Ask for help. Learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. It's better to speak up than stay silent, I can promise you that. I hope you all enjoy!!

  • Ep7 - Personalizing Wellness & Focussing on Self-Love with Kathleen Shepherd (@leenintowellness)

This episode is one we can all learn from. In today's episode, I have an honest conversation with Kathleen Shepherd, a 23-year-old focussed on using her understanding of wellness and mindset to inspire others along the way. Through her Instagram account, @leenintowellness, Kathleen posts about body positivity, wellness, building habits, and self-love. Her account is young, but she is someone who is full of knowledge and experience. Through the episode we touch on topics that can relate to anyone at any point on their life. We talk a bit about body positivity and wellness during the quarantine and how we can take care of ourselves during this time. Your mindset and wellness will look different than the person next to you, but it's so important to find what makes your body happy and focus on incorporating the little habits. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I did recording!

  • The "pep talk" for those we need hope & confidence right now

Happy Monday, friends. I am hoping that through this episode, you’ll be able to start off the week or day stronger… Or maybe these are words you need to hear before you go to bed. It’s going to be a little reminder, or even a "pep talk" if you will, to get you feeling good and positive and happy.

  • Ep5 - GET TO KNOW ME: Who I Am & Lessons Learned in 23 Years

In today's episode, it's you and me! I wanted to talk about my story and how I got to be where I am today. I tell you everything from my goal of playing softball collegiately to eventually quitting playing softball collegiately. I chat about my thoughts and emotions through all of it and how it made me into the person I am today. I give you some insight on my career change during the best summer of my life. I transferred, lived with three random roommates, spent a lot of time alone, and learned to love being alone with my own thoughts. The biggest takeaway from this is that it's not about the "what's next," but about the things you learn, lose, and gain along the way. Deep, I know. I answer some of your questions from an Instagram Q&A, too!

  • Ep4 - Girl Talk: The "Productivity Scheme," Lacking Motivation, & Zoom University

In today's episode, I chat with my best friend Alondra Jimenez about how life's been. We actually haven't talked in a few days, so Alo and I catch up on how we've been feeling going into week three of COVID-19. We talk about how the quarantine has effected our motivation in school, work, and general mood. We get into a debate about online classes and how Zoom may or may not ruin our learning experience. How do online student do it?! Huge shout out to professors during this time. Also... the pass or fail option for some colleges... We talk about that, too. Alo and I discuss the "productivity scheme" and how we feel that social media is making it seem that you need to be productive during this time and you should feel bad otherwise. Sending lots of love, happiness, and health to each and every one of you! Grab a glass of your favorite wine (or a cup of coffee) and join us for a little girl talk!

  • Quarantine To-Dos: Manifestation Boards, Learning A New Skill, & Building Relationships

Happy Monday, friends! Like I mentioned last week, I want to provide positive and happy content as much as possible during this crazy time. So, in addition to Thursday episodes, I will be uploading a shorter episode where I chat solo about things on my mind. In today's episode, I talk about how we can use our free time during the quarantine to increase our personal and professional value. We can update our LinkedIn, organize our email inbox, dive into learning a new skill, and take time to reach out to people we may not normally have had time to via virtual coffee hours. The opportunities and options and endless. Please take this time to do whatever makes you happiest. I hope you are all well, safe, and healthy! Better days ahead. Enjoy!

We chat about the moment Rey realized what he was meant to do with his career, how supportive friendships are more valuable than you may think, and how to stay positive during this crazy time.
