You know that thing, you really want to change?
💪 You may want to start working out more.
🍎Maybe you want to Eat healthier.
🎉Stop overeating or emotional eating?
I have some key advice that is simple but is actually a big thing that gets in people's way.
👉 Changing "I Need to" to "I want to"
When we are working on getting healthier, some of the changes we need to make are not the most fun...changing out the chips for carrots, getting unsweet tea instead of sweet tea (or soda), going for a walk instead of watching another show on Netflix...the list is endless of "less awesome" things you need to modify to actually start moving the health needle. But I'm here to challenge exactly that thinking.
Because I don't know if you noticed, but we humans aren't great about doing things (consistently) that we NEED to do if we don't really WANT to do them.
We do them once or twice, and maybe we even white knuckle our way into going it a few times, but it sucks so you soon stop...unless you are able to turn that "I NEED to workout into I WANT to work out" " I NEED to order a salad, into I WANT to order a salad" "I NEED to wake up an meditate, into I WANT to get up early and meditate."
The outcome is the same, but the feeling is so much different, and this is a game-changer!
