Cabin crew are trained for all eventualities in the air. Fire, Medicals, Restraints... We hope that we never have to use these skills but every so often we do. But what happens when you need to restrain 250lbs of pure muscle and you have an all female crew with no match for size?
In todays episode of The Red Eye Podcast, we hear the true story of a flight attendant on their very first flight, who has to prepare to use the very training they only just learnt.

We've talked about the risks of mixing medication and alcohol when flying as a passenger before. For some reason, the combination always ends up with someone getting naked or doing something completely outrageous! On today's episode, we tell the true story of a passenger with a fear of flying, who resorts to prescription medication and booze to ease his anxiety. With disastrous consequences for anyone sitting near him!

It may be a fantasy for many, because you may find that a lot of flight attendants have a story about the time they were propositioned on a flight. Been slipped a number as the passengers disembark, had a love note written on a sick bag or brazenly been asked to visit the bathrooms mid-flight.
On this episode of The Red Eye Podcast, we hear the true story about one cabin crew members irresistible offer from a first class passenger...

There are many seemingly strange drills that cabin crew have to train for, so they're ready to face any danger in the air (or the ground). Many of them we hope we don't have to use, but occasionally we do! This is the story of the Least Risk Bomb Location. The place on the aircraft where an explosive device can be placed, the spot on the plane that is deemed the safest. Where it would protect flight critical structures and systems from damage should detonation take place.
