We had a great conversation with Morgan Smith and Danielle Wright from North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC) They are all about workforce development and helping the refrigeration industry. The North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC) is a 501(c)(3) environmental nonprofit working to advance climate-friendly natural refrigerants and reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by traditional HFC refrigerants. The organization collaborates with stakeholders from across the industry, including over 51,000 food retail locations, to eliminate the barriers to natural refrigerants in supermarkets, accelerate natural refrigerant installations, and build a sustainable technician workforce.

This was a great learning session about High Pressure Copper Fittings with Tal Gutbir who is the president of NDL Industries. Tal gave us a really good understanding of the differences between the copper fittings used with low-pressure refrigerants to high-pressure copper fittings that are used in CO2 applications. We discussed some of the different regulations around fittings and piping for the CO2 industry.
