Our Special guest started a software company in his garage, and later sold it for 8 figures!
He’s since ran several major companies, Including Sage Plc. in the US as the COO, CEO of the largest furniture shopping site, FurnitureFan.com, and has been a CEO Advisor, to several companies participating in many different business types, solving diverse problems in sales organizations, marketing, technology, systems and H/R.

    Today we’ll talk about;
HOW EMPOWERMENT + ACCOUNTABILITY DRIVES CREATIVITY & SALES SUCCESS!
    1. Management and ownership constantly expected sales to deliver more and held them more accountable than other departments, but showed them less appreciation. There's no real accountability systems throughout organisations as much as is focused on sales depts...
What led you to create a system that focuses people and business more on accountability?
    2. How can reps do a better job of assessing most (and least) significant opportunities?
    3. Do you find a correlation between when sales reps and staff in general are valued, respected and treated fairly, they are willing to be held to higher levels of accountability.
    4. If you had a magic wand and could fix one problem, with reps/planning what would it be?
    • Do reps have targeted answers
    • What is depth of a salesperson's business understanding?
    5. How do reps deal better with accountability when faced of completion:
    • Do they know how to deal with toughest competitor--and what are they doing right?
    • What is your on-the-ground reconnaissance?
    • Have you done a "risk vs. opportunity" analyses.
    6. Accountability to one’s self is as important as account¬ability to the team’s success, so no one should be let off the hook if they haven’t delivered.
    EMPOWERMENT
This can be the most powerful and effective tool available to an employee in any business. Empowerment means having the re¬sources, motivation, skills and authority to be responsible and accountable for the outcomes of one’s own actions while address¬ing customer issues.
    7. How do you correlate or integrate Accountability and Empowerment.
    Accountability in 60 seconds.
Accountability comes down to 3 questions.
    Empowerment in 60 seconds.
Empowerment comes down to 3 things, what would they be?
