Hello all and welcome to the final episode of the RestauRant Podcast. Yes, it's true, but unfortunately for a number of reasons the show is coming to an end. Before I run out though, I've got a few last recipes to dish out here starting with homemade risotto two ways! I finally attempted risotto and I think I may be slightly addicted. To pair with one risotto I made a homemade red wine honey mustard I'll tell you all about, and then on the other side of our last break, a crustless almond berry pie will be our dessert.

I resolve here and now to stop trying to fry things because it has gone so poorly for me, and this week's visit to the Tasty Challenge courtesy of Jarrod Taylor was a disaster. I thought it was important, however, to share my food fails with you and ultimately to try to learn from them! Hello everyone and welcome BACK to a brand new episode of the RestauRant podcast! I took a break through November to focus on completing the NaNoWriMo challenge to write a novel of 50,000 words, and I did it!!! I am definitely back and I've got a ton of food to talk to you guys about. This week, I'll talk about giving my vanilla bourbon caramel another shot this Thanksgiving, I drop my recipe for homemade cheese lasagna, and in the back half of the show I'm dropping THREE different orzo recipes in my salute to orzo.

This week I used your ingredient suggestions to whip up two different recipes (one of which I hadn't cooked before this episode but I will definitely mention it next week). I'll also talk about revisiting my blackberry wine brownies and I have made another mac and cheese!

Welcome everyone to a brand new season of the RestauRant Podcast! You'll notice a few changes if you're a long-time listener of the show... I'm now aiming for a 30-ish minute runtime each week with one break, and restaurant reviews will be on their own minisodes from now on. I wanted the split focus because my restaurant trips are so often local, but my audience is worldwide!

On this week's show, I'm introducing two new segments... the Tasty Challenge and RestauRant Revisited! In the Tasty Challenge, I'll take a recipe from www.tasty.com and correct any issues I see with it to try to deliver something even more amazing... and in Revisited, I'll go back to recipes from the first three seasons and give them another shot so I can make them better. Check out recipes this week for Fresh Fruit Salsa and Sweet and Sour Baby Back Ribs as well as a riff on my original pancake syrup recipe that I added some blueberries to.
