  • Canon Fodder Episode 16.5: Who Framed Chip N Dale?
Canon Fodder returns to one of our favorite universe on episode 16.5, the Tooniverse (trademark?) Did you know that the new Chip n Dale movie actually takes place in the same universe as Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Go back and listen to episode 16 before diving into this wacky world. We’ve got all the theories for you, all of the connections, and all of the toons in this episode. There’s no case too small for Canon Fodder.

  • Ready Set Revue Episode 78: Thor Love And Thunder
Episode 78 of Ready Set Revue is up on all platforms and we are fresh off of seeing Love and Thunder in theaters. We actually caught it on opening weekend, but then half of the Revue Podcast Network went on vacation to a magical place called Greyfox, so we’re a little behind. Thor: Love and Thunder, however, remains a box office powerhouse that, for some reason, isn’t being loved by critics and all of the fans. The critics, we get. They can fuck right off. The fans, though, don't make any sense to me. Yes, the movie has a very straightforward plot that we’ve seen plenty of times before, though not really in the MCU but a pretty standard plot nonetheless. Everything else, though, is a breath of fresh air. While aesthetically similar to Ragnarok, this movie gives mainstay characters like Thor, Valkyrie, and Jane a whole new depth and looks to their post-snap future while also honoring what came before. The action is incredible, the jokes always land (even if they’re may be just a bit too many of them), and the entire visual experience is beautiful; especially on an IMAX screen. Christian Bale is terrifying as Gor and Russell Crowe is spectacularly ridiculous as Zeus. Stay for both after-credit scenes, True Revuers.

  • Talking Tacos Episode 77: The Boys Do Not Negotiate with Terrorists
On episode 77 of Talking Tacos the boys prove that they do not negotiate with terrorists; not 9/11 terrorists but rather blackmailing internet catfish terrorists. Doctor Dave has quite the tale of a recent attempt to blackmail him via a seductive catfish and in true Doctor fashion, he turns it back on them with a simple, “go right ahead”. It’s a great story made even better by the fact that a very similar thing also happened to Matt about 15 years ago. It’s also double story time with the homeless man’s “autism party” in Red Bank.
Meme of the Week ™ is the end to pride month and corporations going full hetero again. We talk about dating apps and do a review of the table basket hot sauces since we ran out of local sauces to try! Special guests Kung Fu Joe, Jenna, and Courtney. Grab your tequila and your joints.

  • Zero Attention Span Episode 8: Nailed the Intro, Peanut Butter Options, and Roe v Wade
On the newest episode of Zero Attention Span, Jackie and Richie finally nail the intro. If you remember, they said it would take them 10 episodes to get it and they were mostly right, if you’re not including the three or four episodes that we never posted because…reasons. Bet you can’t wait for THAT unreleased content when we hit episode 50.
This week Jackie and Richie are talking about painting, drawing, and the benefits of creating art. They also discuss the best type of peanut butter and, spoiler alert, it’s not that overly oily hipster shit where you have to stir it for 20 minutes just to get a teaspoon. Asbury Tattoo Fest and Roe v Wade come up in conversation and Jackie and Richie look to YOU, the faithful listeners, to tell them what some good podcast topics would be. DM us with suggestions!

  • Talking Tacos Episode 76: The Boys Plot to Overthrow the Federal Government
On episode 76 of Talking Tacos, the boys plot an overthrow of the federal government for obvious reasons if you’re following the news because all of the government is evil. We spend a lot of time talking about the overturning of Roe v Wade, as you might expect, but we also are pretty high and half drunk. It is Tuesday, after all.
We try another hot sauce from our friends at Family Band (get on the fucking show!) and also their candied jalapenos. Fuck, they were delicious. Matt baked at a Crue concert over the weekend. Meme of the week is the anti-meme of being a shithead (trust us), Bill has a plug, special semi-guest Sam Chung of MOGO, and the days of the internet flame wars. We’re all over the place as usual on a Tuesday, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Hey, FBI or NSA guy that’s obviously spying on American citizens, it was a joke. You still fucking suck though.

  • Ready Set Revue Episode 77: Obi Wan Kenobi Finale, The Boys, And Ezra Miller
On episode 77 of Ready Set Revue, we close out our revue (rant?) on Obi-Wan Kenobi. Truthfully, the last two episodes of Obi-Wan were fantastic, despite the show seriously lagging in its midsection. Rumors of a season 2? We speculate on that and what we would want to see from it.
The Boys season 3 is unquestionably the best Boys yet. It perfectly blends dark humor, action, story, deep character moments, and plenty of gratuitous gore into a beautiful piece of work. Watching Homelander get his ass beat in the most recent episode was wonderful.
Plus, Ezra Miller is ALL the way off the deep end and what does that possibly mean for the Flash movie and broader DCEU?

  • Talking Tacos Episode 75: The Boys Fall Off Their Bikes
The boys have been Talking Tacos for 75 episodes. What better way to celebrate than with a surprise special (and returning guest) Neil from Shore Sauce! As he promised way back in episode 48, Neil would randomly turn up in the Green Room on a Tuesday night with a new hot sauce for us to try. Coming in hot (all pun intended) Neil brings us a sneak peak of his new flavor, Sunrise. This sauce was complex, hot, and delicious, like the women we date.
We also commemorate (early) the culmination of Doctor Dave’s one year art project that has turned into something so much more, @that_whiteboard. Meme of the week is Biden falling off his bike. Gronk retires (again) and Matt doesn’t like queso. It’s a classic Talking Tacos episode for number 75 and we couldn’t be higher and happier!

  • Canon Fodder Episode 23: Ghostbusters
On episode 23 of Canon Fodder we bust some ghosts. The Ghostbusters universe is much more expansive than most people probably realize. What started off as a one-off movie that was supposed to feature an SNL-based cast ballooned into a franchise lasting over 35 years, with plenty more to come. We spend most of the episode talking about what’s actually in canon, Ghostbusters 1, 2, and Afterlife. Once upon a time, the original animated show, The Real Ghostbusters, could have been considered canon, but not anymore. And that show does NOT age well. We have a blast figuring out where all of the fodder fits in, such as Extreme Ghostbusters, the 2009 video game based on an unproduced Ghosbusters 3 script, and of course the mostly unfunny 2016 Ghostbusters: Answer the Call. Plus, we tie Ghostbusters to the MCU and Caddyshack. Yea, it’s a doozy.
As always, we have food and drinks on the show related to our universe. This week we drink the I Ain’t Afraid of No Bulls, fruited sour, from Bolero Snort and Crystal Head Vodka from Dan Aykroyd himself. There’s also some real-deal Stay Puft Marshmallows (WalMart exclusive) which we don’t actually eat, but we just had to have them.

  • Talking Tacos Episode 74: The Boys Run Up That Hill
This week on Talking Tacos, the boys run up that hill. Friend of the pod, Rob joins us, for some super deep conversations on Kate Bush and Google’s new AI that may or may not be sentient. No, seriously. If those transcripts are real, that shit is alive; and we’re here for every second of it. Let’s go!!!
Kate Bush and her reinvigorated hit, Running Up That Hill, claim Meme of the Week ™ thanks entirely to the song being featured as a key plot point on the new (incredible) season of Stranger Things. We remember the great character actor Phillip Baker Hall, who passed away this week and we all loved from his role as Lt. Joe Bookman on Seinfeld. And Matt explains his experience with Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker arcade game at Yestercades.
This week’s featured hot sauce was Butch’s Hell’s Fury and it was a good one. Full review in the episode!

  • Zero Attention Span Episode 7: Classic Nickelodeon, Mushrooms, and Twinkies
On the seventh episode of Zero Attention Span, Richie accidentally figures out when he was conceived. No for real. Jackie tries to figure out which rappers are dead and which are still alive. Special guest Mel is white AF and tries to speak Spanish. Ever done mushrooms at a circus? What was your favorite Nickelodeon show? Whole twinkies and new tattoos. It’s weird and wild as always at Zero Attention Span.
