Patience has a great status in the sight of Allah Almighty and in Islam. Patience is of best from deeds and has a great reward with no limit. Allah Almighty said in the Holy Quran: “Only those who are patient shall receive their rewards in full, without Hisaab (without limit, calculation, and estimation).”(Quran, 39:10). There is a great reward only for those among us who are patient with the Decree of their Lord. In this world, we face many difficulties or trials and sufferings but we have to be patient because Allah Almighty loves those who did Patience (Sabr) in a difficult time.

Those who will remain patient will enter into Paradise. Allah said in Quran: “Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect.” (Quran, 25:75)

Why it is called Shaban?   Shaban is a name of a month (one of the lunar months), it was called with this name because the Arabs were scattering in it searching for water or scattering in wars or because it appears between Rajab and Ramadan (two lunar months).   The prophet’s fast in Shaban: whereas Shaban is considered as a preparation for Ramadan, it’s preferable for Muslim to fast some days in it.   Narrated Aisha: “Allah Apostle used to fast till one would say that: he would never stop fasting! And he would abandon fasting till one would say that: he would never fast! I never saw Allah’s Apostle fasting for a whole month except the month of Ramadan and didn’t see him fasting in any month more than in the month of Shaban”[Bukhari]   «كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصوم حتى نقول لا يفطر، ويفطر حتى نقول لا يصوم، فما رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم استكمل صيام شهر إلا رمضان، وما رأيته أكثر صياما منه في شعبان»   She also narrated “Shaban was the most beloved month to Allah’s Prophet to fast in it till the beginning of Ramadan” [Declared Authentic by Al-Albani]

صبر کی شرائط میں سے ہے کہ ہمیں معلوم ہو کہ ہم کیسے صبر کریں گے، کس کے لیے صبر کریں گے اور صبر سے کیا حاصل کرنا چاہتے ہیں؟ صبر کے لیے ہمیں نیت کو درست کرنا اور اس میں اخلاص لانا ہوگا ورنہ ہمارے اور جانور کے صبر میں کوئی فرق نہیں ہو گا کیوں کہ اُس پر جب مصیبت آ جاتی ہے تو وہ بھی برداشت کرتا ہے مگر اسے اس بات کا پتہ نہیں ہوتا کہ اُ س پر مصیبت کیوں نازل ہوئی اور اُس سے کیسے نمٹنا ہے اور اس کا کیا فائدہ ہو گا۔

اللہ رب العزت کے حضور دعا گو ہیں کہ وہ ہمیں صحیح معنوں میں صبر کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔

Being steadfast in doing what Islam and Allah have advised us to do and in preventing ourselves from whatever they have forbidden us to commit [2] & [4]. The duties that God has assigned to human beings, and especially those He has determined for Muslims, are not free of hardship. Hence, one might ignore some of them or abandon entirely or choose to be patient and experience their eternal joy: “so worship Him and have the patience for His worship” (19:65).

افسوس! آج ہم صبر سے بہت دور ہو چکے ہیں، شاید یہی وجہ ہے کہ ایک تعداد ذِہنی دباؤ، ڈپریشن،شوگر اور بلڈپریشر جیسے مُہْلِک اَمْراض میں مبتلا ہو رہی ہے۔ یاد رکھئے! بڑے بڑے عقلمندوں کی بصیرت کے چراغ بے صبری کی وجہ سے گُل ہو جاتے ہیں،آج  دینی و دُنْیَوی معاملات میں صبر کا دامن  ہاتھ سے چھوٹنے کی وجہ سے ہمارا معاشرہ تباہی کی سمت جارہا ہے،لڑائیاں عام ہوچکی ہیں، دوسروں کے بغض و کینے سے سینے بھرے ہوئے ہیں، آستینیں چڑھی ہوئی ہیں اور لوگ ماردھاڑ پر کمر بَسْتَہ ہیں

یاد رکھئے! انفرادی زندگی ہو یا  اجتماعی، گھریلوہو یا سماجی، صبر کے بغیر زندگی کی کتاب نامکمل رہتی ہے۔ آج 
ضرورت اس بات کی ہے کہ ہم ہر وقت صبر کی سواری پر سوار رہیں، مصیبتوں، پریشانیوں، بے جامخالفتوں اور غموں کا سامنا ہو بھی تو صبر ان تمام چیزوں کا بہترین جواب ہے۔ اللہ تعالٰی ہمیں صبر کی دولت عطا فرمائے۔اٰمِیْن

Sabr (Arabic: صْبِرْ ṣabr‎) is the Islamic virtue of “patience” or “endurance”. Sabr is characterized as being one of the two parts of faith (the other being shukr). Patience is the first weapon for the believer to use when facing hardship.

Importance of Taqwa in Islam

Allah alone is the Creator of this world and He is The Most Merciful for all His mankind, it is repeatedly mentioned in Quran. The obeying of the great Lord is not confined to only fulfilling religious actions, but being moral in every aspect of life, as observed in the following verse of the Holy Quran: “O, you who believe! When you hold secret counsel, do it not for sin and wrong-doing, and disobedience towards the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) but do it for Al-Birr (righteousness) and Taqwa (virtues and piety), and fear Allah unto Whom you shall be gathered.” (Quran, 58:9)

Hazrat Abi Bin Kaab se Hazrat Umar Bin Khat'taab
(RaziALLAHU Anhu) ne puchha k taqwa kya hai ?
Unhone kaha : Kabhi kaantodaar raaste mein chale ho ?
Jaise wahan kapdo ko aur jism ko bachate ho aise hi
gunaahon se baal baal bachne ka naam taqwa hai.

What is Taqwa?

Taqwa is defined as fearing Allah when a person fears from Almighty Allah then he will not commit sins. Taqwa incorporates consciousness and fear of Allah as well as piety. Piety is basically righteousness that can be only obtained by the obedience of Almighty Allah and refrain from His prohibitions. We can say that Taqwa is the key to happiness and success in this life and the hereafter too. Taqwa acts as a channel through which Muslims relate to one another in society and also a medium to link their actions.
