The River Rambler

On This week's episode I'm speaking with Aaron and Leah Helfrich of A. Helfrich Outfitters. Jim McCarthy of Water Watch and Jake Crawford of The Steamboaters return this week to talk to us about the continuing events on the North Umpqua around the Winchester Dam. We discuss the support of the ODFW,  the cost of owning a 135 year old dam versus the cost of removal, the dam owner's continued fight against laws and regulations, the ecological benefits of dam removal, and more.
