LinkedIn is an online platform that is often underused to increase online visibility. Is your LinkedIn profile up to speed to help you stand out as an authority in your niche? Using LinkedIn can improve your online visibility by growing your network and building trust. Your LinkedIn profile is not a resume, but a great way to emphasize how you help your clients. More of a search engine than a social media platform LinkedIn, similar to Pinterest is more of a search engine than a social media platform. And it's not something that you have to fear. LinkedIn can be a powerful tool to help you stand out online, attract soulmate clients, and grow your business. LinkedIn can be beneficial for your SEO strategy. LinkedIn is a tool for business growth and marketing strategy. Some people are using LinkedIn to grow their audience, grow their network, and get clients. There are strategic components to building a LinkedIn Profile. But important to note is that you can, and should, show up as your true, authentic personal brand. Building out your LinkedIn profile to become more visible can increase opportunities and expand your network, which is key for growing your business. Don't let fear and anxiety prevent you from improving your online visibility LinkedIn provides an opportunity to tell your story and the story of your business. To build connection and trust. But telling stories on LinkedIn and other public platforms can be difficult for people with anxiety. Since May is mental health awareness month, we must mention the fear and anxiety that may be increased, or induced by entrepreneurship and the need to be present online. Instead of fearing it, embrace it as an opportunity to shine and serve other people. Embracing and sharing your story and journey is a key component for taking that step forward and being present and representing yourself authentically. Stories are such an important part of building a connection with your community. Online visibility doesn't have to feel intimidating Many people have a preconceived notion that LinkedIn is for people with five degrees and 30 years of experience, the go-to person in their space. The Adam Grants of the world, the Brene Browns of the world. But you have a powerful story as well. Tania shared her perspective on LinkedIn in the non-profit sector. LinkedIn is the place to access movers and shakers. People are on LinkedIn to not only grow their networks but to help out. To support others. Don't let imposter syndrome hold you back from online visibility Don't let imposter syndrome hold you back from using LinkedIn to improve your online visibility. Remember, as an entrepreneur, you are the CEO of your business. When you begin building your LinkedIn profile or updating it, start from a place with clarity. When you have clarity, you will be more confident. Use LinkedIn as an opportunity to showcase who you are and what you do. Don't be afraid to do that. In addition, when you have clarity and your message is clear, the right people will be attracted to you and the wrong people will self-select. And remember, if you try to talk to everyone, you'll be talking to no one. • SEO vs. Social Media Marketing
You live in a digital era! And trying to grow your business in a saturated market can be challenging. So, what do you do? Let's evaluate SEO vs. social media marketing to grow your business. Which is better, SEO vs. social media marketing? The answer will depend on you, your goals, your audience, and the level of success you want. In most cases, it's not one or the other but a combination of the two. Let's dive in. When comparing SEO vs. social media marketing, let's start at the beginning SEO is a long-term strategy. As such, it should be part of your overarching business-building and marketing strategy. The key to building any business is to build a solid foundation first. You don't decorate a home before it is built. In the same way, you don't achieve business success long-term without having built a solid foundation. SEO is part of the foundation of your business. It goes hand in hand with your website and getting found by search engines. Have you ever been disappointed when someone hired another person because they found them on Google? Did you wonder why they didn't find you? Chances are, it's because your SEO strategy isn't up to speed. Whether you are hiring someone to build your website or are DIYing your website, SEO must be part of the plan. The benefits and disadvantages of SEO for business growth Benefits of SEO One significant benefit of SEO vs. social media marketing is long-term organic traffic. When you have an SEO strategy, anyone can find you at any time from anywhere. Optimized content can continue to bring traffic to your site for months, and even years On the contrary, social media marketing content, aka social media posts, is short-term. Most posts are short-lived. SEO can also help to build trust and credibility. When a website is optimized and appears in top search results, it demonstrates authority. In addition, it shows that the business is reputable in its niche. The best part of building trust and authority with SEO is the opportunity for immediate sales and conversions. In addition, SEO will drive targeted traffic to your website, which can increase the possibility of the visitor becoming a customer. You most likely will not get immediate sales and conversions on social media. People are distracted on social media and most likely are not on social media with an intent to buy. It's important to note, that as great as SEO is for driving organic traffic to your website and increasing the possibility of sales and conversions, it is a long-term strategy. Website optimization and quality content creation are processes that take time. You cannot expect to come on the scene and rank over people that have been optimizing and creating content for years. It may take a few months before you see your rankings improve. However, when you think of it as long-term gain, it is worth it! Although it takes time upfront, once your website it optimized, people will continuously find you if you stay true to your efforts of website optimization and quality content creation. The benefits and disadvantages of social media marketing Benefits of social media marketing In my opinion, the biggest benefits of social media marketing are building relationships and brand awareness. Another benefit is that you can use social media to drive traffic to your website and use it to help grow your email list. Can social media marketing help grow your business, yes, absolutely. Social media marketing can increase brand visibility and when used consistently can help build trust. In addition, social media marketing is cost-effective, it takes less time and if done yourself it appears free. I say appears free because if it requires your time, it is ultimately not free. The platforms are free. Graphic creation in apps like Canva can be free if you don't upgrade to the professional version, but your time is never free. If you are spending time doing your own social media marketing, you aren't spending time in other areas of your business that could potentially generate revenue. It's also important to note that it takes time to generate a following. Social media marketing success, like SEO, is not an overnight success. Don't kid yourself and think that posting on social media will immediately bring in clients. You have to build credibility and a following before you see conversion. • What you need to know before using AI (Artificial Intelligence)?
Before using AI in your marketing strategy, you need to know the facts. There are several points you need to be aware of before using AI to grow your personal brand and business. Before using AI for content, you need to understand exactly what it is. You may have heard it referred to as Chat GPT in addition to artificial intelligence and AI. ChatGPT is a dialogue format of AI, it was created to be more conversational. But for the sake of this post, we will not go into all of the types and levels of AI available on the market today. That is a much deeper level of technical understanding than I have. As complicated as AI may seem when used for content generation, it isn't something to fear. However, it is important to use caution. What is AI? Artificial intelligence, (AI) is the use of computer systems to simulate the human mind. There are various hardware and software programs involved in AI, for example, Python, Java, R, C++, and Julia. There are experts who specialize in AI programming. How does AI work? In simplified terms, a bot will consume large amounts of data, look for patterns, and then make predictions. When a human puts in text, a chatbot can pull information and have lifelike exchanges with the human. You ask a question; it gives you an answer. AI techniques are improving rapidly and can produce very realistic text, music, graphics, images, etc. What do you need to know before using AI? I've had an opinion about AI for a while since first introduced. The anxious skeptic in my first thought that's amazing. But immediately my mind went to the thought that that means a bot could take my information, the content I've worked hard to create, and give it to someone else t use. And I may never know it. I thought about plagiarism and how before, that was a big deal, but it may no longer be because of how the data is being discovered and shared for someone else to use. And believe me, not everyone is rewording the results produced by AI programs. In addition, I thought about how AI was going to take away human jobs. And it reminded me of going to the grocery store or Target or Costco and the self-check-out lanes. Talk about anxiety producing. Every single time I use them something goes wrong, and I have to wait for the human who is frantically trying to help 10 other people to have time to help me. All the while, the light is flashing, and the intercom is saying help is needed in lane 5. I love check-our clerks and the service they provide. Computers shouldn't replace them. Let computers replace the need for vacuuming or other meniscal tasks but not the ones that give humans jobs and allow them to provide for their families. Before I felt comfortable addressing the topic of AI, I researched it and asked my small business attorney, Cheri Andrews, for her legal perspective. With that said, here are a few things to consider before using AI in your business: If you are trying to grow a personal brand and business, you need to be genuine and authentic. Is AI going to accurately represent you, your tone, your knowledge, your level of professionalism, and your opinions that make up your personal brand? What stops someone else in your niche from asking the same question, getting the same response, and using the exact same answer in their content? Are you willing to review the AI outputs and add your own brilliance, flare, opinion, and expertise? Read the full show notes and access all links. Download free resources.

  • Situational Mindset Modeling for Entrepreneurs - A Facebook Live Training
Mindset is an integral part of growing a successful business. Situational mindset modeling is part of Purpose to Results™ - Mindset + Strategy + Action = Results. Purpose to Results™ is my proven marketing method. Why is mindset modeling an important component of business growth? Success begins with your beliefs. Your beliefs influence your thoughts. And your emotions are influenced by your thoughts. The emotions you feel, influence the choices you make, the behaviors, and the action steps you choose. Ultimately, the choices you make determine your outcomes. If you want to grow a successful business, the first part of the formula to success will be mindset modeling. What do you believe? Your overall beliefs are determined by what you believe about yourself and others, what you've been taught to believe, your life experiences that have influenced your beliefs, and your faith. Negative patterns of belief will result in negative thoughts. In addition, what you believe about your soulmate clients, what they need from you, and what you need them to believe about you, will influence whether you attract them or not. Your beliefs influence your outcomes. Negative patterns of belief will result in negative thought patterns. Likewise, negative thought patterns trigger negative emotions. Negative emotions result in poor choices, negative behaviors, and a lack of action. A lack of action means less than ideal outcomes. Mindset modeling to the rescue To avoid this negative cycle from negative beliefs to poor outcomes, it's imperative to do mindset work. Key strategies for changing your mindset Journaling - write out the negative beliefs. Write out the thoughts that the negative belief triggered. Next, write out the negative emotions you feel from experiencing the negative thoughts. Then, write out the choices you'll make because of those negative emotions and feelings. Finally, write out the outcomes you'll achieve if you stay in this negative pattern. But don't stop there. Re-write this pattern from a positive belief. Note the difference in the possible outcomes once you have changed the initial belief. Do this journaling practice every day. This practice is related to my 5C journaling practice - Start by catching the negative belief and negative thoughts. Challenge the negative belief and thought - would someone you know, love, and trust believe and think the same negative way you are? If the answer is no, change the thought and belief to something positive. The more frequently you do this exercise, the faster you'll be able to get rid of the negative what-ifs and beliefs and the positive ones. Ultimately, you will have more confidence to make decisions. Meditation Both journaling and meditation change the neuropathways in your brain allowing you to go from negative beliefs and thought patterns to positive ones. When you are in a state of belief and positive thoughts, you will make better decisions and take more positive action to grow your business. If your business isn't growing at the rate you want Purpose to Results™ is a proven way to get the results you want. Situational mindset modeling is at the forefront of the formula because mindset ultimately determines your ability to create and implement strategies and to take intentional effective action. • You need these strategies before you write a sales page with Lauren Wood
Your website is at the core of your brand marketing strategy. Knowing how to write a sales page that converts is part of both your marketing and website strategies. Why is having a website important Your website, along with your personal brand, is the foundation of your business. People need a place to find you when they search for you. Your website will demonstrate that you are professional and trustworthy. In addition, your website allows people to get to know you and connect with you. Having a website allows you to create your own personal corner of the online space and get found by more people. Likewise, your website is a platform you own. If social media disappears, you won't be as panicked because you still have your website and people will be able to find you and see you as the expert you truly are. Why it's important to know how to write a sales page When you launch a program, launch a new offer, or even publish a book, you want to have a sales page. Your sales page becomes the cornerstone for where people will find the information needed to make an informed decision about your program or offer. When writing sales pages, your goal is to provide valuable information so that you can convert readers to clients. Past experiences matter in entrepreneurship As a side note, Robyn and Lauren talked about how previous career journeys help shape you as an entrepreneur. You do not need special credentials to become an entrepreneur. All of the experiences you've had on your journey have led to your current expertise. Your journey and experiences become part of the story you tell when you write a sales page. Sharing your story builds an emotional connection with your audience and community. Refer to these strategies when you write a sales page Your sales page should be written as though you are in the mind of the person landing on your page. Communicate with the person landing on your page throughout the copy on the page. When you write a sales page, make it about the reader. Do market research to know what your reader is thinking, and feeling, and their pain points. In addition, understand what they need and how you can solve their problem. Use the voice of the customer. You can find the voice of the customer in testimonials, from information collected on previous sales calls, and by doing surveys. When you write a sales page, grab the reader's attention The header or hero image/section is perfect for grabbing the attention of the reader. This should not be clever, cute, or witty, but should be specific to the offer you are selling. Think about who you align with and who you want to impact. Your message must be clear to them. In addition, think about multiple buyers as you write a sales page. Some people will come ready to purchase, others are doing research. Include a purchase button at the top of the page for those who are ready to buy. Also, note that the hero image or section is great real estate for SEO. Therefore include your keywords/keyphrases in this section. Use the keywords/keyphrases or their synonyms throughout the page. Read the full show notes and access all links. • The 5 Things You Need To Do to Be Healthy with Amanda Hinman
If you don't know how to be healthy and don't have health and wellness as a priority in your life, your business is going to suffer. There are 5 things you need to do to be healthy. Your overall health and wellness, the mind, body, and soul connection, impact your business and the level of success that you can achieve. When your body is not healthy, when your hormones are out of whack, or when your body is deficient in something that it needs, you will not feel well and therefore won't perform as well. Many different physical signs and symptoms can occur, which are going to impact your mental health, your mind, whether you're foggy in the afternoon, or not foggy in the afternoon, your productivity level, and overall happiness. And if you aren't in a place where you have complete health and wellness, you could be experiencing a lack in other areas of your life, like your business. Five strategies that you can implement to help your body heal and become more healthy so you can be more productive, more successful, and more abundant. Health and wellness are very critical in terms of how we not only perceive ourselves and our lives but how we put ourselves forth into the world. And it really does impact our businesses, our relationships, and our lives as a whole. The industry of functional medicine - how to be healthy naturally Functional medicine is unique and different from other licensed medical practitioners, doctors, nurses, and PAs. All of these have licensed medical boards in the world of functional medicine, there is no universal licensing board, as of yet. There are currently several programs and areas of study that you can go through, and you have to have prior certifications to be able to qualify. Functional medicine is more of a study of the interconnectedness of the body systems and how they are all related. Nutrition and food are a component of knowing how your body has the ability to detoxify and handle hormones and stressors in the body. Your mind-body connection is so critical to balancing that sympathetic or parasympathetic state. All of these different components in the body systems work together in a unique, brilliant fashion. The natural hormone solution - how to be healthy using the 5 Rs Root Cause The first is identifying the root cause. Each person has a unique set of circumstances and biochemistry that is going to impact her body. You need to get clear on what that is and know where your hormone levels are. Knowing how your body is processing and handling stressors and waste and whether it needs to detoxify or not. An Example of a root cause for someone who wanted to be healthy and pain-free Someone struggles with feeling low energy and it's hard for her to get up and go. She's had a hypothyroid diagnosis and has been on thyroid medication but still gained weight. In the mornings she feels drained and energetically low. In addition, she had aches and pains in her joints and body. When looking at her hormone levels, we saw that she doesn't have what's called the cortisol awakening response. Her CAR activity is really low. She has a flat-line cortisol curve. Cortisol, a stress hormone, usually peeks shortly after arising. It gives us our get-up-and-go energy and then gradually tapers off throughout the day and into the evening. Then the body makes more melatonin. She didn't have that. Her body didn't have the ability to produce enough cortisol. After further evaluation, we realized she was taking a statin medication for the past eight years. Statin medications can be helpful because they reduce the production of cholesterol in the liver. However, cholesterol is a necessary component to be able to have your body make cortisol in the adrenal glands, and it has a strong mitochondrial function. The result was that she had depleted levels of CoQ 10. We know that statin medications deplete CoQ 10 intentionally, and she hadn't been supplementing CoQ10. Healthy fatty foods and a CoQ 10 supplement were key for her to gain more energy and live pain-free. Read the full show notes and access all links. • Are you being complacent?
Being complacent has no role if you want to grow a successful business. Don't be complacent if you want to start and grow a successful business. 1 Thessalonians 5:6 So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clear-headed. It's challenging to be in the online space and not let distractions pull you in several directions, most leading nowhere and causing confusion. When you are confused, your community will be confused. Confused people don't buy. How can you focus on being clear-headed? What action can you take to alleviate distractions and be focused on employing your God-given gifts to grow a successful business? Be courageous and grow a successful business. First, be courageous. Where does courage come from? From God. From believing in the power of the gifts He's given you and that He has a purpose for you. Fear and doubt stimulated by what you see and consume online will result in a lack of action. Courage isn't the absence of fear, but it is your decision to take action despite fear. We know that mindset plus strategy plus action equals results. Courage is a mindset, and you can navigate your mindset so that you can take intentional action by following the strategies you've developed for your business. Be bold to grow a successful business. Second, be bold. How can you be bold when you are scared and confused, overwhelmed and frustrated, and tired and weary? Tap into the courage that He alone builds up in you. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 reminds us to be on our guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love. In addition, in Joshua 10:25 we are reminded, "Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. To be bold we must cast aside distractions and fear. Fear may always exist, but courage will help you take action despite the presence of fear. Take bold action to tell the world you are here to serve them in the way Christ has called you to serve using the incredible gifts He's instilled in you. Build a unique personal brand with a positive mindset, implement effective strategies, and take intentional action and you can grow a successful business. Your beliefs and thoughts will determine whether you can grow a successful business. Third, catch the negative thoughts that arise from fear - doubts, and insecurities. Paul reminds us in Romans 12:2 not to conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is – his good, pleasing, and perfect will. Science is just now catching up to scripture when it comes to understanding the mind. Ref. Switch on Your Brain. Your mind is intricate and miraculously made. It's powerful. In addition, you can change the neuropathways in your brain to redirect your thoughts to be more positive. When you do so, you will take more effective action and achieve the outcomes you want to achieve. The mindset work you do upfront will help you implement strategies for growth. It will also enable you to take more effective intentional action to produce the results you want in your business. Being complacent will prevent you from growing a successful business. • Use these strategies to write a book - writing a book simplified with Danielle Mendoza
Writing a book can be an incredible way to connect with your audience on a deeper level, and also showcase you as the expert that you truly are. You are capable of writing a book and it's not hard to formulate your story and share it. The benefits of writing a book The first benefit is getting to tell your story and reach more people. Second is building an emotional connection with others, especially your soulmate clients. Third, being asked to speak and being paid to speak. Fourth, being seen as an expert. The benefits of being an entrepreneur Being in business for yourself feels good. It creates so much more meaning and connection in life. Danielle shared that our businesses go beyond just this idea of making money. Being an entrepreneur is also about being who we are in the world and living as ourselves fully and impacting the lives of other people. God often calls us to something bigger, to have a deeper impact on more people. In addition, life experiences sometimes propel us to crave fulfillment and have an impact. Danielle shared her experience with cancer. Life can be short, we never know how much time we have, so it's important to act now. Danielle mentioned that she wanted her legacy to be a story of who she is and how she's touched other people's lives. Robyn seconds that. That is what having an impact, following your purpose, calling, and changing lives is all about. 6-figure income doesn't define success If you listen to the idea that you have to get to six figures long enough, you'll start to feel like you're not successful unless you get to the six-figure mark and think that that is the bottom level of success. That simply is not true. It's a valid goal to have but we can be happy and feel successful without reaching that goal. You can build a business model that fits your life instead of fitting your life into a very busy business model hustling to achieve 6-figures. Finding balance We hear a lot about the inability of finding a balance between family life and business. However, it is what you make it. If you desire fulfillment and want to have an impact, you can have a business and work around your family commitments. It doesn't have to be all or nothing, all business and no family or all family and no business. That's the beauty of entrepreneurship. You can work around your family's schedule and needs while creating a successful business and making an impact. Both you and your family will grow through each season you walk through, with different needs, ages, activities, and different levels of focus in your business. What you need to begin writing a book - you don't have to be a writer or be creative to write a book Writing a book can be intimidating. You may experience fear and imposter syndrome so having a support system and network of people to hold you up and hold you accountable is key. It may also be hard to be disciplined to write. In addition, having a strategy in place will allow you to write with simplicity, ease, and grace. It is possible to write a book in a few months, it doesn't have to take years. Take advantage of creative time, like in the shower, while driving, or while walking the dog. Use the notes app on your phone and record your creative thoughts and add them to your manuscript later. So I wrote a good chunk of my book. In the bathtub, in the shower, in my car, while I was driving by just opening up my notes app and doing voice-to-text, and then I would copy and paste those thoughts and those ideas into my document later when I was sitting at the computer and kind of clean it up and fit it all in. Note, that when you have a strategic framework for writing your book, it happens faster and easier. Likewise, when we allow ourselves time to be creative, thoughts flow to us. Your expertise is all that matters when you want to begin writing a book However, you don't have to consider yourself creative to be able to write, especially if you are telling your story, especially if you're writing something that is related to your business. Danielle emphasized that you also do not need to consider yourself a writer. The women she works with are experts and geniuses at what they do in their businesses, but not expert writers. They don't need to be. Neil Gaiman, a famous author, has a great saying. He says first drafts are trash. And it's true. He's released three chapters of the first draft from one of his best-known books, and they're terrible. When you try reading them you think, oh, if this was the book, I would not want to read it. But yet he's created an incredible life as a professional author. Use Neil as inspiration to say, I don't need to be a brilliant writer to be able to share my story. That's why we have editors and we have people who look through our book, beta readers. What you need to know to begin writing a book When you begin writing a book, think about who you are talking to, the ultimate reader. Ask yourself who is the person that I'm talking to in my book? Because as we start to write, we tend to think we're talking to everyone. And as we all know, in business, if you're talking to everyone, you're talking to no one. Very clearly define who you are talking to. When it comes to being an entrepreneur and writing a book to build your legacy and scale your business, you're talking to your best potential client. In addition, you're usually talking to the person who is early on the client journey towards getting to know you, like you, and trust you. Before you define an idea, a title, or what your book is going to be about, you need to define who your reader is. From a personal branding perspective, we talk a lot about that, how to identify your soulmate client and understand exactly what they are thinking. What it is that they need from you. Be aware of the problem that is keeping them up at night. What is the challenge that they're thinking of when doing dishes? When you start thinking in terms of what they're thinking, the solution to their problem becomes forefront for you. What is your soulmate client thinking - address their thoughts when writing a book Sometimes it's hard for us to see what our clients are thinking because we are the expert. We've usually solved the problem for ourselves and many other people. To discover what your soulmate clients are thinking so that you know what to write, ask them. Ask them what they're thinking and have some strategic questions to draw that out of them. Then you'll have their words, the voice of your customer, along with their understanding and perspective of the problem and you will be able to write directly to them. • You need these strategies to handle difficult conversations with Debra Roberts
Many people hesitate to have important conversations. But you can handle difficult conversations with ease using specific communication skills. When you feel equipped to handle difficult conversations, you change your life, your interactions, and your relationships. Likewise, when you get curious and avoid judging, you are more likely to be able to handle difficult conversations and share opinions in a kind way. Important to note is that when someone isn't open to having a difficult conversation, don't push your point. Learn how to read a situation and how to approach people. If you aren't getting anything back, realize the other person is turned away. In the instance someone is fully turned away and invested in their negativity, you've got nothing to move the conversation forward. Discernment in difficult conversations When you present yourself in a way that is demonstrating curiosity, open-mindedness, and respect, and the person tunes you out, lashes out, or is distracted and uninterested, comment on what you are experiencing, in a kind and respectful way. Don't go low, stay respectful. Debra suggested saying "I am trying to have a serious conversation but I feel you are distracted, is this not a good time to talk about it?" Or, "I'm not sure why you're upset." Additional examples are, "I am trying to get a point across but I don't think it's landing, what am I missing?" Or, "Help me understand what you hear me saying because I don't think you are getting my message." When someone isn't understanding or isn't interested, don't continue to say the same thing over and over. It won't land. How to approach a challenging person or interaction It is often hard to handle a difficult conversation, especially with a difficult person. Most people will not look forward to the conversation. Many will avoid it, especially if they are people pleasers. People often avoid difficult conversations because they don't know how to start the difficult conversation. In addition, they get stuck and don't know what to say once the conversation gets going. They also don't want to hurt the other person's feelings. Approaching a challenging person is all about your mindset. Give the other person the benefit of the doubt that they want to have a good outcome. Instead of assuming they aren't in agreement, assume they too want a positive outcome. Strategies to handle difficult conversations First, think about who you are talking to. Who is on the other side of the interaction? Second, think about how you want the other person (people) to feel when you are having the conversation. For example, do you want them to know that you are serious? Do you want them to know that they matter to you? Third, what objective do you have? What do you want to accomplish? And what are the takeaways you want the other person to have? Write down 1 to 3 takeaways that you want the other person to have. No more than 3 takeaways because people don't absorb more than that. No matter the journey you are on or the goals you've set, if you want to achieve results, you must implement strategy. Positive change and results happen only when you implement strategy. Whether you want to start and grow a business or want to change your lifestyle, you need to implement strategy. Why is it important to implement strategy when you want to start and grow a business? Think about it, you wouldn't go on vacation without mapping out an itinerary, would you? Of course not. You'll create and implement a strategy for how you'll spend your time, where you'll stay, your mode of transportation, what you'll pack, who or what you'll visit, and where and what you'll eat. The same is true for your business and life in general. Strategy is key for making decisions about systems and processes in your business and personal life. When thinking about the importance of strategy for results, consider the following areas in which it's necessary to implement strategy and processes for your business: Writing copy and brand storytelling - how you write, your message, how and where you tell your story Structuring your website - ease of use, clarity, content, menu, etc. Sending emails - email marketing - frequency, content, building your list, nurturing your audience Writing newsletters Creating calls to action - grow your email list, discovery calls, buy now, etc. Building relationships Creating demand - what, when, and how you'll do things to create demand Increasing visibility Creating a budget - revenue goals, expenditures, charitable giving, payroll, etc. Launching a new program - pre-launch, copy, marketing, sales, promotion, content, etc. Marketing Mindset - maintaining a positive mindset requires daily action - create a strategy SEO Blogging Content creation and sharing Evaluation – what went well, what didn't, and what will you change?
