This week, the boys delve into the conundrum that was last week’s presidential debate. After a brief realization of how screwed we are either way, the boys switch to a coping mechanism in talking about film. Recent films they enjoy, but more importantly, recognizing the dedication, labor, and costs that go into making cinema. The boys huff more copium as they switch focus to another entertainment industry giant, video gaming. Hot new games as of fall 2024, certified hood classics, and their vision for the ideal hero shooter; the final bullet in the chamber to finish Overwatch. The boys open this week’s episode of the Scat Cast with their thoughts on the Minecraft movie trailer. Some are trying to be optimistic, however, the rest of us… have some more pessimistic thoughts on how Jack Black can capture the soul of Minecraft Steve. One of the boys has some more pessimistic thoughts to share, and not just on the blocky abomination. The boys then decide to test their friendship, by defining the very definition of who they consider a friend to be. The boys are back for another episode for the Scat Cast. This week, Jon starts off by begging the question, why do we love playing hard games? Why do we desire challenge, and have an innate craving for improvement? While discussing this very question the boys delve into challenges that are not so fun, mild inconveniences such as slow drivers, traffic, and most dastardly of them all: broken microwaves. In the face of challenges and these minor inconveniences, the boys share what keeps them going, actions, advice, and chicken wing flavors they will never give up, truly the most important things and ideas men can cling to. The boys finish up with an emphasis on why aspirations are so important to have, how they take us to higher places, and give us a better sense of purpose.

On this episode of the Scat Cast, Darren comes forth with a shocking revelation he came upon, the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, AKA the Unification Church. After going through the history of this Korean cult and its founder Sun Myung Mun, the boys go down a rabbit hole and find that the Unification Church has a LOT more connections among public figures and worldwide media organizations than you would initially believe. After being put onto the idea of the unification of humanity through the church, the boys discuss their thoughts and personal accounts of spirituality and organized religion as a whole, as well as what spirituality and religion mean to them. KJ from the Underachievers Podcast joins the Boys on this week's episode of the Scat Cast. Alphonso, ecstatic over finally having another black man on the show, delves into the complex experiences that comes with being a black man in America. The boys welcome back returning guest Naz, to this week's episode of the Scat Cast. The group takes a moment to reflect on how far they've come, as well as a shout out to Naz’s new project, the Underachievers Podcast.
