On the Secret Witch Show today our guest is Veda Austin. Veda is a water researcher, public speaker, mother, artist and author. She has dedicated the last 8 years to observing and photographing the life of water and believes that water is fluid intelligence, observing itself through every living organism on the planet and in the Universe. Her primary area of focus is photographing water in its ‘state of creation’ - the space between liquid and ice - and her remarkable crystallographic photos are nothing short of amazing. Veda has demonstrated how water responds to our thinking - in ways that we would have thought unimaginable.

In this episode we take a deep dive into exploring water science - i.e. how water has a secret fluid intelligence - and the implications of that, exploring how we can harness this science and art for deep self-healing.

What You’ll Learn from this Episode:

• We are 99% water, which means there are more water molecules in our bodies than stars in the Milky Way - when we cry, cut ourselves, go to the bathroom, exercise, we leak. We are fluid; but we look in the mirror with our fourth phase, 99% liquid crystal eye lenses and we see our bodies as solid.

• If eyes are the windows to the soul, then tears are an expression of spirit. We can engage in relationship to the Spirit of Water for deep healing. The Spirit of Water is able to be the observer, and come and go from the body, but its tether is the electrical charge - and one of the reasons that people who have had near death experiences have been able to come back to their bodies is because there is a very weak electrical charge coming from the brain for 10-15 minutes after death.

• If we think about this fact that water has something to do with spirit, then that applies to plants and other kinds of remedies - and when something is diluted, the closer to spirit it becomes - this makes sense of energetic remedies like homeopathy. We are essentially invoking the spirits of the remedies (which is the lineage of this path) - and water can demonstrate the spirits of these remedies in its crystalised form - water is hungry for information and will observe it and show you.

• Water itself is a remedy - and, given that it observes the energy of things, when we crystallize energies in water, they can be consumed in ice to have healing effects.

• Spinal fluid is the portal to Cosmic Consciousness. When we sleep, our brain is bathed in this fluid that moves like the ocean, in and out - in essence, we have an ocean within us (which reminds us of the quote “you are not a drop in the ocean, you are an ocean in a drop” by Rumi)

• Water responds to us - and we can play with it by using Veda’s technique - more details are in the show notes as to how to find her work.

• The Masculine is ultimately here to honour the Feminine’s soul desires - a bit like the Queen’s Funeral, which went without a hitch due to order, structure and everyone submitting to that, as the goal was in deep service to the Death of a Queen - the Ultimate Feminine - and it was her desires that were being provided for fully by the Masculine

• We are only used to the Masculine expression of power which can make us forget that the Feminine holds power too - it’s just that often power shows up in shadow. Masculine and Feminine energetics each have gifts - the Masculine’s are Clarity and Confidence, and the Feminine’s are Connection and Creating - and they each have their own shadows, too - all of which are showing us where we can heal and become the healthy expression of our Softpower.

• We can meet our edge in loving ways to alchemise and liberate ourselves - the key is to do this in aligned ways, rather than pushing and forcing, like many other methods have us do - this really is about lovingly self-healing

• Our triggers are our Material for Liberation or a healing response - and if we choose to see them as that, this is where the opportunity for loving healing is.  Mostly we choose unconsciously to not see it this way, but if we can open to it, there’s so much alchemy

• In order to truly heal, we need to open to magic - and the unknown - allowing more to be revealed.  That really is where we will learn we can truly fly, and that our fear of failure doesn’t have to lead.

Dean is Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), Associated Distinguished Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), and chairman of the biotech company, Cognigenics. He has earned a Masters (in electrical engineering) and a PhD (in psychology), and in 2022 was awarded an Honorary DSc (doctor of science) from the Swami Vivekananda University in Bangalore, India (an institution of higher learning accredited by the Indian government and specializing in yoga practice and research). He is author or coauthor of some 300 scientific and popular articles, four dozen book chapters, and nine books, four of which have been translated into 15 foreign languages: including “Real Magic”.

• It makes sense that magic was suppressed by society into the underworld - it’s because of how it can be harnessed powerfully from fear, opens up the possibility of fraud and challenges religion and control. And still, it can also be powerfully used for healing.

• Magic should be harnessed with ethics - love is the law, love under will - conscious and intentional use of healing is so important for magical ones

• It is both important and possible to measure magic with science - even if some aspects of magic cannot yet be measured as we’d like. Science is advancing to meet the measuring of magic and, in the future, so much more will be discovered - it is a really exciting time to be studying magic in the world

• Dean’s research is advancing magic in all the ways - he’s even found that 94% of academic scientists and engineers will admit that they themselves have had at least one of twenty-five psychic experiences or abilities. At that point, the 6% that haven’t become the outlier! That’s mind-blowing evidence for magic being true.

On the Secret Witch Show today, Nicole dives into how a symptom of being a Secret Phosphoric Witch (who doesn’t know her own magic or power) can often be anxiety and overwhelm. She explored how women can begin to learn to love themselves through this, in a way that all is welcome, in order to reconnect to their whole-souled expression - rather than attempting to ‘fix’ it as if it is something ‘wrong’.

In this episode we explore the different views of anxiety from the mainstream and magical lenses, how the Witch came here to find the gold in her wounds (including anxiety and overwhelm as an expression of our wounds), and how to love ourselves through all of that, to see the deeper wisdom contained within our melt downs.

What You’ll Learn from this Episode:

• The mundane lens looks at anxiety and overwhelm as mental illness, but there is starting to be research that sees our different cognitive styles can make mental disorders valuable to society, not burdensome and something to fix

• The magical lens often also treats anxiety and overwhelm as something to ‘fix’ (and to be fixed by an external) - and this is often because healers have (innocently) tried to fit magic into a mundane box to make it more palatable because they don’t feel they can be unapologetically magical (and this is a path that doesn’t honour the real magical technology available to us)

• There is scope for a model (which is what I’m creating in this path of Wild Apothecary) that transforms the ‘healing sickness’ model of traditional ‘woo’ into a model that teaches people to return themselves to their whole-souled expression - to heal themselves, so that they can fully express who their soul was born to be

• A generative and loving focus which welcomes anxiety with love, is what helps us to return to our soul - unlike a degenerative compensating focus that has us try and ‘fix’ our anxiety (and it’s helpful to know that we are always manifesting whatever our focus is on)

• A witch came here for the human darkness - so if you’re listening, know you have got this, and you can hold your anxiety and overwhelm - and in fact, it can actually be a gift that points you to some gold (although it may not feel like it at the time)

• It is loving and welcoming our anxiety that will help us to alchemise it magically. The more we can love ourselves, the more healing we can create for ourselves. You can start this process by tending to your nervous system, and being in the enquiry of “what’s the deeper fear of even allowing myself to hear what my anxiety and overwhelm wants me to know?”

On the Secret Witch Show today our guest is Ian Watson. Ian is a writer, educator and trainer who has worked in the field of energy medicine, natural healing and personal transformation since 1988. He was the founder of a homeopathic training school in 1993 and is the author of four popular homeopathic textbooks. After a long exploration into various forms of psychological and emotional healing, Ian was introduced to the Three Principles understanding in 2011, and this has been the foundation of his work ever since as he now trains practitioners in the innate wellbeing paradigm.

In this episode - which was so full of gems - Ian and Nicole explore what we mean by “energetic medicine” - and illuminate how Phosphoric Secret Witches often have a deep call within them towards magical, energetic work (which is often lying as a dormant susceptibility, and usually expressed as ‘shamed’ sensitivity). We discuss magic versus science, and how to harness energetic medicine for our own, magical healing - and the importance of healing energetically ourselves, before learning to become our medicine for others.

• Magical ones do not always grow up having had magical initiations - it is a conscious choice to initiate ourselves into our magical, medicinal powers. It’s also likely inevitable that we eventually follow the call to invoking energetic medicine - if we grant ourselves permission to, despite our many distractions. If we don’t, largely soul finds a way to make it happen.

• Not everyone is here to be a Magical One - it’s a unique gift - and yet one that most Witches deny themselves because of fear. Magical women are often born as Phosphoric constitutions - which is the personality everyone longs to be born as for their magical, open, bubbly, light, effervescent energy - but often, in the mundane world and through fear, Phosphorus burns out from seeking approval and shaming her deep sensitivity - and not knowing how to harness her open, magical energy, which can leave her not trusting.

• The Remedies of the Wild and their homeopathic lineage are forms of energetic medicine - and yet, these paths can often be doubted by those looking for logical, linear ways to heal (which we are taught are the “right way” by the modern world). Science - whilst wonderful - often looks at the homeopathy in a reductionist way which doesn’t support the way it works to return people to their Unique Expression of Whole-Souledness. Science created its own way of measuring everything - and homeopathy doesn’t necessarily fit into that way, but it doesn’t mean it’s wrong; it’s just mysterious and yet unknown because it is magic.

• We are all susceptible to specific remedy relationship patterns, and within those, we can heal our wounds, in order to discover our gifts - and this can become our unique medicine for the world.

• The Witch Wound - as a homeopathic miasm - makes sense from the perspective of epigenetics: AND, it doesn’t mean we can’t heal from it and expand past being stuck with it. The deep invitation is to learn to heal ourselves, and reclaim our power to heal (rather than giving that power away, innocently).

• Although energetic medicine is aimed to be “rapid, gentle and permanent”, we can sometimes experience healing responses - also called “Material for Liberation” or activation or trigger - when working with energetic medicine, but these are not to be feared as they are good signs that healing is working.

• Anything can be a healing remedy - even a piece of music - and it’s about listening into our hearts as to what is medicine for us. It is the resonance that matters, as like-cures-like, so a resonance will be healing. We can also dose Remedies of the Wild energetically - working in an honouring and sacred way with each remedy as an archetypal personality.

In this magical episode, Nicole shares the common place her women begin their journeys, the deep, open-hearted, sensitivity and the layers of trauma from living in the linear mundane world that have magical ones armour up, instead of believe in magic, and talks to the magic vs science debate and how the fact that science hasn’t yet explained magic doesn’t mean it isn’t real.

• Only true Magical Ones suppress and feel a deep resistance to magic, because it wouldn’t even occur to them, if it wasn’t in their field. Likewise, we can only notice that something is missing because it was there in the first place, so if you’re feeling you miss magic, it’s likely it was there always there.

• Magical, Phosphoric women are so deeply sensitive and open that when they come across the criticism of magic from the mundane world, they often immediately shut it down, armour up and close off to their souls - which results in them denying magic

• This is one of the great paradoxes of being a Magical One - that in the early phases, we have to learn to both love magic and also be ok with not always loving it due to our trauma responses and fear

• The conditioning to deny magic and choose and favour logic - which underlies their armour - is actually a trauma response to the Phosphoric woman’s fear of her sensitivity and openness. There are lots of things that can layer over a Magical One’s core and stop her believing in her magic. The deep work is to love ourselves in that.

• Science is wonderful - AND - like everything, has a point where it isn’t all the everything. Science by its very nature is here to try and explain the unexplainable, so magic is everything that science has not yet explained.

• There is always doubt in magic for magical ones, and ultimately, you have a choice: you can continue to live as you are in logic and control (and in the mundane world) - or, you can follow your deep, burning fire and passion, and grant yourself permission to be magical. This isn’t easy work, but it’s well worth it to be who your soul came here to be.
