Everyone gets beat down, whether that is physically beat, being sexually assaulted, being born with a dysphoria, struggling with self doubt, or even depression and anxiety. Just because we have our challenges does not mean we are our challenges. You, Me, Everyone can be a victor and a hero.
In this episode with Ben Kjar, he shares with us his story of being a victim. ( Ben was born with Crouzon syndrome, a facial dysphoria that requires lots of medical procedures at a young age, but instead of listening to the haters he ended up becoming the victor he knew he was. Ben competed in wresting and one the state championship 3 years in a row. Afterward he competed collegiately becoming Utah Valley Universities first All American Wrestler. He later took 4 in the Wrestling Olympic Trials. Since then he has shared his story with tens of thousands of people, helping them see their inner hero. Now he is a successful house flipper looking to a positive future )
