One of the most well-known and beloved action films of all time, Predator is 80s action at its finest: violent, gory, hyper-masculine and full of some of Arnie’s best one-liners.

Danny Boyle’s sequel to the 1996 cult-classic brings back all the characters we loved from the first one, but barely any of the magic. Despite that, it’s still an enjoyable watch!

Danny Boyle’s acclaimed black comedy is widely considered to be not only one of the best films of the 90s, but also one of the best Scottish films of all time. Its humour and intelligence surpassed that of many other films of its time, and the movie arguably rivalled the quality of the book it was based on.

The final instalment of the Skywalker Saga is arguably the worst film ever made. We deserved better. RIP Star Wars.

The long-anticipated sequel to Return of the Jedi hits the mark on all counts, despite it being almost shot-for-shot remake of A New Hope. It’s got three great new protagonists, an intriguing villain and a whole range of edge-of-your-seat action scenes. Disney hit the nail on the head with this one!

A rare financial failure for Disney, Solo is that kid whose parents thought they were going to be rich, famous and successful, only to discover heroine at the age of 14 and… you know what, that metaphor doesn’t really work, because despite being a financial failure (and despite what Harley thinks of it) this movie is fun as hell!

Rogue One, the movie that was made solely to explain a fairly gaping plot hole in the original Star Wars film, was incredibly well-received by Star Wars fans. Which, given the toxic nature of Star Wars fans, is an achievement in its own right.

The prequels culminated in what is easily the best film in the trilogy, and perhaps even the best film in the entire Skywalker Saga. It’s full of action, fan service, awful writing and those classic Star Wars transition wipes (40 in total) - in short, it’s got everything that makes Star Wars great!

The much-anticipated sequel to The Phantom Menace finally gave audiences a taste of the beginning of The Clone Wars - a concept first referenced all the way back in 1977’s A New Hope. Sadly, this film doesn’t quite compare to Episode I, however it offers plenty of adrenaline-pumping action sequences, making it an enjoyable film nonetheless.
