We all have them. Those questions we are dying to ask but not sure who to ask and are embarrassed to ask.
Today we are going to talk about one such question that is probably in your head now or has been at some point.
If I’m so good, why hasn’t God blessed me with a husband?!
Maybe you phrase the question slightly differently, but you wonder why God hasn’t blessed you with a husband yet.
Let’s talk about it!

Hello friend.
Who is running your life? Is it you? Or maybe it feels more like your mom, or your boss, or your ex, or sister is running your life.
You begin your week feeling you have a handle on things and feeling pretty dang good about the days ahead, when bam! There she is your mom, doing the mom thing and now you don’t have a handle on things and are feeling pretty crummy.
Or it’s not your mom, it is your ex. You thought you took back control over your life when you divorced or broke up with him and then bam, there he is right back in control making you feel less than and angry again.
Listen friend, we all have them. Those few people who seem to suck us right back to a place and the way of being we thought we had left behind.
If this sounds like you, you are in the right place today. I have exactly what you need to take back control over your life.

Hello friend.
That magical time of year has arrived! Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. About 6 weeks of magic or 6 weeks of misery! 😊
Right?! Magical or miserable often seem to be the two choices we give ourselves.
And we have a tendency to think that it will be one way or the other depending on who shows up for the gathering, how they behave, whether or not the turkey is dry and the pies are good.
We mistakenly think that unless it looks and acts like a Norman Rockwell painting then it is a miserable holiday.
So not true my friend. Your holiday season can be magical even if cousin Mary and her family show up late. Even if uncle Bob yammers on and on about the recent election. Even if the turkey is dry and the pies are not so good. And even if you are show up as a party of 1!
Listen in and learn how to make your holiday season magical!

Dating shouldn’t feel this hard.
But for many single women, it does.
And no one ever taught you how to date well.
Endless swiping.
Awkward first dates.
Men who disappear, pull away, or waste your time.
And the questions start creeping in:
🌀 Why is dating so frustrating?
🌀 Why does it seem so easy for everyone else?
🌀 How do you actually know if someone is husband material?
Welcome to The Single LDS Woman podcast.
I’m Sharon Lamar, a certified life coach and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints—and I help single women enjoy dating and choose a husband.
Not by playing games.
Not by pretending to be someone you’re not.
And not by waiting around hoping someone chooses you.
Instead, I’ll show you how to:
✨ Enjoy dating again instead of dreading it
✨ Stop overthinking every text, date, and conversation
✨ Build genuine self-confidence that changes how you show up
✨ Recognize who is—and isn’t—husband material
✨ Trust yourself when it comes to love and relationships
Using simple mindset tools and powerful coaching concepts, I’ll teach you how to approach dating with clarity, confidence, and peace.
I didn’t get married until I was 52, so I understand the unique challenges single women face while navigating dating, relationships, and life.
Whether you’ve never been married, are divorced, widowed—or not even LDS but still resonate with these experiences—this podcast is for you.
Because dating doesn’t have to feel miserable.
It can actually be enjoyable.
And you absolutely can learn how to choose a husband.
This podcast will help you enjoy dating and choose a husband.
