            • 28: 11 ways to minimize toxins to sleep better

              Stress and inflammation cause insomnia.

Toxins cause a lot of inflammation in your body so you want to minimize toxins as much as possible.

To reduce toxins, you want to:

              1. Eliminate toxins in your body and support your liver
              2. I use functional lab tests to find out what toxins are in your body. Pathogens in your gut such as a parasite or bacteria overgrowth release many toxins. Heavy metals are toxic, too. Your liver has to break down toxins so they put an extra burden on your liver. To restore your health so you can sleep, you want to eliminate these toxins.

                1. Minimize toxins from the environment
                2. Toxins are also all around us, in the air, our water, our food, our cleaning products, even our lotions and shampoos. To help your body get back in balance, you want to minimize toxins from the environment as much as you can.

In this episode, you’ll learn how to reduce environmental toxins.

I help my clients lower as much stress and inflammation as possible so their bodies can heal and they can sleep normally.

                3. 27: Is your liver causing your insomnia?

Your liver could be causing your insomnia.

Many of my clients have an unhealthy liver and it’s keeping them awake at night.

That’s because the liver is most active between 1 and 3am. If it has more toxins than it can handle then those toxins circulate around causing lots of inflammation. Your body releases cortisol to deal with the inflammation which wakes you right up!

                  In this episode, you’ll learn:

                  • other signs of liver dysfunction
                  • the functional tests I use to see if your liver is affecting your sleep
                  • simple things you can do now to support your liver
                  • If you’re interested in a natural, permanent, customized solution using the science of lab testing to sleep better, let’s chat! I’ll explain more about what physical health imbalances could be causing your insomnia and give you a step-by-step plan to figure out your sleep once and for all.
