This is a very special episode of The Worthy Mother Podcast! Kami Lee of The Honey Seed has shared the audio from her IG Live series titled The Holistic Wellness Collab from a few weeks ago when I was on talking with her about guilt and shame.
This episode strays from the typical format of the show (and it is a bit longer than the typical guest episode), but is too good not to share with you! During the conversation, we talk about:
This conversation is powerful and is absolutely worth the listen if you have dealt with guilt and shame in your own life.

Welcome to The Worthy Mother Podcast. Today we are talking about mom guilt - specifically looking at a handful of situations that cause mom guilt for many mothers. The experience of mom guilt is so common, and yet it can be extremely isolating when it isn't addressed. That's where this conversation comes in.
In this episode of The Worthy Mother Podcast, I seek to shed light on just how impactful mom guilt can be on our motherhood experience. The list of reasons moms feel mom guilt that I share just barely scratches the surface, but in doing so it shows just how widespread the issue is.
Talking about it is part of the solution - if we can acknowledge the societal piece in why we feel mom guilt for so, so many things, we can start to push back on it. The other solution that I offer is learning to reframe your thoughts that lead to feelings of mom guilt, which can be really powerful the more you practice.
Here is a free downloadable guide for helping you overcome mom guilt through thought management. It's a start to helping you live a life more in alignment with what you actually want.

Welcome, welcome, Mama! In this episode of The Worthy Mother Podcast, I talk all about why we need honesty in motherhood. I even share some of the ways that the honesty of other moms sharing their own experiences has helped me through my postpartum and motherhood journeys.
Through this episode, I discuss the impacts of how moms show up on social media - both the good and the bad. My hope is that you will leave this episode with clarity on how honest (or less-than-honest) representations of motherhood impact us deeply.
