These beings, Tom reveals, aren't your typical little green men from outer space. They're something far older and more sinister, hailing from a realm beyond our understanding, trapped beneath the Outback soil. And guess what? They're hungry. But not for human flesh... they crave something much more terrifying: the human soul.

The evidence is more than just spooky stories. Sarah and Tom uncover a chilling pattern of disappearances, stretching back further than anyone realizes. Then, they stumble upon a ghost town, frozen in time. Its inhabitants stand like statues, their eyes hollow, their very essence drained away. The Ngangkari have been busy, leaving behind only empty shells.

Sarah finds herself face to face with one of these horrifying creatures – a nightmarish blend of insect and shadow, with a hunger that chills her to the bone.
