The Stars Made Me Do It

Another year has come and gone and we are welcoming in 2026 with wide, cosmic arms. For the FOURTH year in a row Ciera and Mimí are joined by Hannah from Hannah's Elsewhere to bring you the major upcoming transits of 2026! We have the outer planets shifting, the nodes changing signs, as well as Mercury up to its annual f*ckery. Tune in for all you need to know about the upcoming year!

This week, we’re diving into Jupiter in Capricorn—what it means in your natal chart, how this placement shapes ambition, wisdom, and growth, and why Jupiter’s expansive energy feels so different under Saturn’s structured influence. Of course, we take a few classic detours along the way… including an urgent discussion about impulsively cutting bangs and a mildly morbid debate over whether bones ever really decay. We also peek at Karl Marx’s chart and revisit the energy of Dec 2020–Dec 2021, the last time Jupiter moved through Capricorn. But at its heart, this episode is all about understanding the grounded, intentional magic of this placement—and it turns out Jupiter in Capricorn isn’t limited, it’s just incredibly intentional.

This week, we’re diving headfirst into The Holiday and breaking down the astrology of all the characters, where we go through each character’s (and each actor’s!) top three and unpack how their personalities line up with their charts. And of course, we couldn’t resist roasting Ethan a little… mostly because if you ask Mimí, his character remains gloriously, spectacularly pointless. Grab your blanket, pour something cozy, and join us for a charming, astro-fueled trip through one of the best comfort movies ever.

This week, we’re diving into the Houses of Joy—aka where each planet is living its absolute best life according to Hellenistic Astrology. We break down which houses naturally support each planet’s vibe, why these placements matter, and how they actually show up in real charts. Along the way, we somehow end up discussing what it means to be an exalted sad bitch (looking at you, Mimí), and why Ciera absolutely would’ve been beheaded if she were king back in the day. Plus, we take a stab at where the modern planets might find their joy, because why should the ancient ones have all the fun? It’s educational, and it’s entertaining. It is an episode about joy after all!

December’s astrology forecast is here—and for this month only, we’re releasing our Patreon episode to the public so everyone can get a taste of what our monthly deep dives are all about! We start by recapping November’s events and how they lined up perfectly with the skies: Mimí’s zero-filter era and unapologetic resentments, plus Ciera’s full-on Sagittarius activation sprinkled with a surprisingly gentle Mercury Retrograde.

Then we head into December’s cosmic weather, kicking off with a powerful Full Moon in Gemini and a grand cross that promises big energy. If you’ve got mutable placements… buckle up. You’ll be feeling everything this month—from activations to challenges to the full mutable rollercoaster.

With a gobble gobble here, and a neigh neigh there, we prepare for the upcoming Year of the Horse. Keep your ears open because somewhere in todays episode, Mimí might be soft-launching something major 👀

Tune in all the way through—you won’t want to miss the cosmic tea or the surprise.

It's officially Sagittarius season! What better way to kick off this season than with a Jupiter in Sagittarius deep dive?! As Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, this placement is a double dose, extra concentration, of Juptiterian energy. Talk about luck and abundance, those who have Jupiter in Sagittarius are no stranger to large social circles and connections, as well as a tendency to embrace that 'more is more' attitude. Have a listen to see how this placement shows up in a birth chart or in your life when this transit is happening in real time.

It's that time of year again...Happy Sagittarius season and Happy Birthday Ciera! As per annual tradition, Ciera and Mimí discuss Ciera's upcoming astrological year by looking at her solar return chart. A solar return chart is a perfect way to get an overview of the upcoming year's themes as well as through which lenses lenses the year will be perceived. It seems that Ciera is in for a year of offering more healing services and feeling all of the feels...but with a lighthearted Sagittarius moon guiding the way. Tune in to see what this year has in store for Ciera, as well as what a solar return reading might look like for you!

This week, we’re shedding some light on the Sun through the 12 houses! You may know your Sun sign, but where it lands in your chart can totally change how that energy shows up in your life. We’ve covered the 12 signs before, but this time we’re diving into the houses—because let’s be real, this is where astrology can start to feel a little confusing. Don’t worry though—we’re here to make it clear, fun, and full of insight. Tune in as we break down how your Sun’s house placement shapes your self-expression, purpose, and where you’re meant to shine!

In this year’s The Stars Made Me Murder episode, Ciera is rejoined by Kailin to discuss the case of one of France’s most chilling crimes: the Dupont de Ligonnès family murders. While we always precise that the stars don’t actually make anyone murder…the family annihilator in this case not only had astrology in mind during this horrendous act, but the astrology of the day these crimes were committed were intense to say the least. What do you think happened that day and what would you make of this potent Aries stellium?

This week, join Ciera and Mimí as they ramble about everything from fashion brands’ astrological correspondences to the deep fear of a haunted house. Want to know which one of us loves the other more? You may discover that in this week’s episode as we explore ideal family dynamics. And of course, why would you want to miss a spooky-themed ramble during this time of year? Tune in and giggle with us!
