We finally reach 1066; King Edward of England is dying and London prepares for the grand ceremony to consecrate his new vast abbey down on Thorney Island… but in the shadows an ambitious English noble is about to plunge the nation into crisis.

It’s 1066 and the year London was to find it’s story for ever changed. King Edward the Confessor is sick; down river from London an old man tries to come to terms with his own mortality, but circumstances lead the man charged with protecting the realm to decide to seize the realm illegally… and begin a sequence of events which doomed the land.
