Known only as The Storyville Slayer, this shadowy figure (or possibly figures) is believed to be responsible for the brutal murders of at least a dozen women. At a time when true crime was often ignored and victims were easily forgotten, the killings went largely unsolved - buried beneath corruption, poverty and silence. In this episode we discuss two of the main suspects. Was it one man? Multiple killers? Or a system that allowed murder to thrive unchecked?
