We have been on a roll lately with our Str8OutDaDen Podcast. For our latest episode we sat down with a personal and close friend of mine. Me and this guy go way back to being roommates during our college days at Georgia State. Lazies meet Grammy nominated producer Ace Harris. It was a bit different interviewing a personal friend, but we managed to get through it with a lot of history behind how he got his start and where he is now. We also talked being nominated for a Grammy, working with King Ink, Pusha T, No Malice, Lecrae and more. Dope episode to say the least. We even got a short snippet of a record from Justin Paul's upcoming Crème De La Crack album. So you know the drill...sit back...Relax and Listen!

We are back with another incredible episode of the Str8OutDaDen podcast. This time around we have a repeat offender on the show as SoCal emcee DiV.W sits down in Da Den to talk about his progression in the past year. We talk his upcoming project Suburban Accents, his MiddleOfMade tour, the current state of hip-hop and more. Oh and yeah #VinylConversations is back! I think we are sticking with that name. DiV pick 3 records from the crate, told stories and then dropped a freestyle over The Black Flames "Are You My Woman? (from Less Than Zero". Classic episode to say the least. So you know the drill...sit back...Relax and Listen!

Man do we have a treat for you Lazies today. For our latest podcast we sat down with the homie DTheLyricisT. We first met the homie at the Apache Underground Railroad show a couple of weeks ago. We talked his day leading up to that night, his growth as an indy artist, his relationship with Ghostface Killah and we even added a new element to our Vinyl Conversations segment as DTheLyricisT freestyles over Diana Ross. We have been cranking these podcast out a little more frequently lately and its all because you Lazies ask so nicely (insert sarcasm here). This week we talk with Atlanta emcee J Cutta. Not only did we go over his start in the rap game, we went through some of the history of why I created Str8OutDaDen.com. Overall just a cool convo with a passionate emcee who knows exactly where he wants to be both professionally and lyrically. Oh and yes we did get bars. So you know the drill...sit back...Relax and Listen!

Ahhh so I have a treat today for you Lazies. Recently we sat down with EDM group aColorWar and had a great convo. I learned a lot about the genre as we spoke about the technical aspect in creating EDM, the culture, their upcoming Free Your Spirit EP and more. I was shockingly surprised of the parallels with hip-hop and hopefully you will learn something. You know the drill sit back…Relax and Listen!

For our latest podcast we sat down with Atlanta emcee Miles Stone. He first made his way on Da Den with his "Locomotion" video with Clay James and since then we knew this dude was special. We talked how this collab came about along with the direction of his upcoming album Hard Liquor. We learned a lot about this dude and his hard work ethic. We even brought back our "Vinyl Conversations" segment and played the original sample from 2Pac's "How Do You Want It". Plus you know we got bars. So you know the drill...sit back...Relax and Listen!

For our latest podcast we actually left Da Den and headed over to this Atlanta emcee studio. As we walked in the building we caught the creative process of his upcoming album HighEndLowLife. Lazies meet Ra Ra. Most of you may know him as Young Capone, but after a couple of projects Ra Ra went for a name change and a new focus. We talked about his reason behind the change, the direction of his new album HighEndLowLife, being a producer and an emcee and more. Spoiler alert…No Bars this time, but still a dope interview. So you know the drill…sit back…Relax and Listen!

A couple of days ago I had the opportunity to sit down with Atlanta hip-hop collective better known as W.I.C. (We Invented Cool). Sticking true to their name, I can truly say you Lazies are in for a treat with this one. We spent the majority of the time with emcee Trip Freeman and producer Capt. Mudfish. Both shared stories of being an indie artist and the sacrifices made. But this convo wasn’t just limited to hip-hop, as we talked life, learning about your nationality and more. Not to mention the other emcee and third member Kory Calico showed up just in time for a freestyle session. So you know the drill…sit back…Relax and Listen!

With their #DopeAF mixtape dropping later today, Jimmy Hennec & South Johansson took the time out to stop by Da Den and talk hip-hop with me. The two gave us the classic stories and details about how they linked and how the project came together. They even went through the crates with me and you know we got bars! With that being said…sit back…Relax and Listen!

For our latest podcast we traveled to the east side of Atlanta to visit Michael Aristotle. As I sat at his dining room table we began to chat about his new project What Tomorrow May Hold and the process along with the changes this album went through. I made the comment that the project takes after the good kid m.A.A.d. city album by Kendrick Lamar and the convo took on a life of its own. We also got into how Michael got his start in music and who had a major influence on him wanting to become an artist. We also got his take on if Biggie and 2Pac was still alive; would the music scene be the same? Of course we closed it out with some dope bars.
