Michael Dowd has lived a storied life that has been well documented in the documentary “The Seven-Five”.  The self proclaimed dirtiest Cop in NY has taken his fall very hard serving 12 years in federal Prison for crimes committed while being a member of the NYPD in the 80’s and 90’s.  His candid and energetic approach to the telling of his tale holds nothing back.  He owns it!  This rare characteristic is why Mike is so important to the world of Law Enforcement.  The telling of his tale is put out there as a road map on how to avoid the same trapping that ensnared him.  Mike is now writing his next chapter in his life to give back to a community that is in need of his candor and experience.  This is a riveting and exciting episode that is a must listen.

Today we remotely record at Live Free Farm for the Heroes Relief Fundraiser benefiting organizations dedicated to offer that needed help. On this 20th Anniversary of the tragedy that was September 11th 2001, we pay homage to this mutual Suffering that we endured collectively as a nation with a rare Hero of the recovery, retired NYC Firefighter Billy Bartholomew.  Billy had a front row seat to the carnage of that day digging through the wreckage actively searching for survivors and the deceased.  His courage resulted in Cancer due to the recovery efforts.  His attitude is that of a true warrior, choosing to never give into the Suffering and fighting his cancer head on.  While his actions are the definition of what a hero is, Billy’s humble attitude doesn’t allow him to recognize how we see him.  Listen to this story and keep our collective promise to never forget.

Kevin Kearns is one of those rare individuals with a relentless attitude that is infectious.  On this episode we travel down Kevin's path from a bullied youth to a top level trainer, Author, Public Speaker, Coach.  Kevin then travels back down the dark path to rise once again and now add inspiration to his resume.  Kevin has chosen to embrace the Suffering and use his pains to assist others on their journey.  Kevin's first book "Always Picked Last" chronicles his journey from  bullied youth to champion martial artist.  His next book "There's Light In the Tunnel" is set to be released.

Wandely Torres-Czajka has overcome a difficult youth and adapted to her environment on numerous occasions to not only survive but to thrive.  From her upbringing in the Dominican Republic to a new life in the United States, from the military and finally onto a successful career in Law Enforcement, Wandely has shown that the only the limitation are the ones we put onto ourselves.  Wandely crushes the Stigma of a Female Police Officers by knowing her own boundaries and how to operate within those boundaries.  Every Law Enforcement Officer has aspects of the Job they are deficient and that they excel.  Being part of team allows us to play to the strengths of the team.  Wandely is a valuable treasure that is sorely needed on all departments.

Dan Trolaro has taken a journey with Gambling that can double as the plot to a horror movie.  Having Gambling in his life at a young age normalized his behavior until that same behavior became out of control ultimately leading to a life changing experience.  After going to prison Dan left that life of addictive gambling behind to rise and find his true calling.  By talking from a place of experience and understanding, Dan shows how to turn humiliation into humility.   Showing that recovered for a Gambling addiction is a one-day-at-a-time journey.  Now he is doing the work that he was always meant for by turning his Suffering into success.  Dan is a former Assistant Director of 800-Gambler and is now has a national reach as the Vice President of Prevention for EPIC Risk Management.  Dan is also the co-host of "Hello my name is Craig" with Craig Carton on WFAN.
