Scott Stevens is a giant of a man that stands a mere 4'1" .  Born with achondroplasia, Scott has embraced being a little person and lived life to the fullest.  Playing the hand we are dealt means that we can win with any cards given to us.   We all take things in our lives for granted that Scott finds difficult on a daily basis.  Being a Little Person has become a gift giving Scott to find a career in acting that has led to legendary appearances.  Never one to take the easy route of self pity, Scott rises above to find his niche in this world.

We are closing season 1 with this amazing episode discussing Suffering on a different scale.   Pre Production has begun on Season 2 beginning in January.  If you though Season 1 was good, you haven't seen anything yet.

On September 23rd, 2019, the last event of Officer Franks old life ended and a new life emerged from the ashes of a scorched past.  After falling deep into the grips of depression and alcoholism, Frank found new purpose in life as an advocate for Physical Health as the pathway to sustainable mental health.  Through his non-profit Reps for Responders, Frank battles that daily Suffering that First Responders wrestle with showing by example that the way to a brighter future is through Physical fitness.  This profound episode is educational and inspiring for those who may not know that there is help out there in some unlikely places.

Eric Englehardt has spent his life in the service of others.  For the past 29 years and counting, Eric has answered the call to assist those in need by rising through the ranks in various Emergency Medical Service organizations.  From helping an elderly individuals up the stairs to life saving heroics, he has seen it all and still has a passion to assist those in need.  There are rare individuals in this world that see this calling to come to people when they are at their worst, scared, in pain, and Suffering.  Eric sits on the board of directors of Dented Developement Project as well as Waves of Health because of his knowledge and dedication to a life of service.  Listen to his journey, trials, and tribulations in this fun and inspiring episode.

Charlie Cifarelli carried trauma and damage around most of his adult life.  Constantly chasing a form of success that seemed just beyond his grasp.  From the streets of NYC to the fields of Nebraska, Charlie has led a life of service after hitting rock bottom.  His life would forever change on April 13th, 2012.  That change came in a very surprising form.  That was the day that Star the dog had to Suffer and sacrifice herself for the redemption and savior of both Charlie and others worldwide.  Star’s impact will forever be felt in both Charlie and the world.

Mark Vesper and Steve Sargent are two men who have identified a need in their community and that is the dedication to allowing men a place to bond and show their Suffering - not to fix or highlight their struggle but to walk along side of one another.  Their support group Band of Brothers (BOB) has been in operation for 16 years and is getting stronger every year.  Men are taught to live by a code but never instructed on how to deal with certain emotions.  Band of Brothers fulfills that need by allowing men a safe space to see that there are others around with the same dents who can offer support.  This episode is impactfully and thoughtful while still giving us the need to bond as men.

Michael Dowd has lived a storied life that has been well documented in the documentary “The Seven-Five”.  The self proclaimed dirtiest Cop in NY has taken his fall very hard serving 12 years in federal Prison for crimes committed while being a member of the NYPD in the 80’s and 90’s.  His candid and energetic approach to the telling of his tale holds nothing back.  He owns it!  This rare characteristic is why Mike is so important to the world of Law Enforcement.  The telling of his tale is put out there as a road map on how to avoid the same trapping that ensnared him.  Mike is now writing his next chapter in his life to give back to a community that is in need of his candor and experience.  This is a riveting and exciting episode that is a must listen.
