Well, well, well. Not only has the two-point super shot infiltrated the UK Superleague. It’s now also going to be introduced in the ANZ Premiership in New Zealand.
So what does this mean? Are the top three netball leagues in the world becoming too similar? If each competition has the same rules, is there anything left to set them apart? And does this indicate that it’ll only be a matter of time before we see a two-point shot in international netball? Would that be a bad thing?
We mull it over, as we discuss the results from the Team Girls Cup in Adelaide and the first two rounds of NSL 2.0 with Birmingham Panthers’ defender Gabby Coffey.
