This week Dale and Brian do a movie review of red Dawn (the original) and cover some “prepper lessons” we can take from the movie. They also went into some Covid stats from the CDC, and what Kamala Harris running a VP means for the election.

With the media hype about how everyone is going to die from Covid is we let everyone go back to work, and let children go back to school we went over what these numbers actually are, and what they mean.

Today in the show we took a deeper look into the future of technology which we covered briefly in episode 2. Automation, quantum computing, video surveillance, 5G and digital twins are all on the horizon.

An article from Forbes.com was brought to our attention by a friend titled “16 Tech Trends That Will Soon Shake Up The Consumer Market” and we gave our thoughts on a few items from this list. I will say, whoever wrote this article is a little more optimistic than we are. As with any new technology, it can be, and usually is abused.

We also talked a little bit about food storage techniques, the Survivalist Prepper Academy, and our plans for the future. Eventually we hope to start doing live shows. Anyone who is interested could join in and ask questions.

We’ll also be scheduling guests to join us. Most of these guests will be bin names in the preparedness community as well as guests who are specialists in their fields.

Welcome to the first episode of the Duff & Dale show which is what we’re calling the show right now. For those of you who have listened to the Survivalist Prepper podcast or the Mind4Survival podcast you know exactly who we are. For those who have not, we explain everything in the beginning of the show.

This week we went over a few topics including the story behind Jeffery Epstein and why powerful people get away with just about anything. We also covered how bad our economy is getting, and how that affects us. Finally, we talked about the Corona Virus and how the regulations surrounding it could have he impacts on our civil liberties and the economy in general.

We covered quite a bit more in the show, so make sure and give it a listen when you get a chance. The show will soon be available on Stitcher, iTunes and your favorite podcasting app, but for now you can listen to it here. If you are reading this in the future, it’s probably already up and running.

What to Call the Show?

As I stated Earlier, we are calling the podcast the Duff & Dale Show for now, but we are planning on changing the name. We mentioned in the podcast that we are looking for ideas from the listeners about what to call the show.

We are going to run a contest which we’ll have more details on in the near future, but if you have any ideas let us know in the comments below or send us an email.
