From her time hosting Elvira’s Movie Macabre on the boob tube in the 80’s (and again from 2010-2011), to Halloween-themed commercials, and three pinball* machines (one of which is owned by two different Swearwolves), Peterson’s Elvira is an undeniable pop culture legend.

After some initial reminiscing about seeing Elvira on TV as kids and meeting Cassandra Peterson at shows over the years, Bret, David, and Alan get down to business and bust through her two films: 1988’s Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, and 2002’s Elvira’s Haunted Hills.

Bret, David, and Alan discuss two films that play on the tropes of the slasher and found footage sub-genres, respectively: Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006) and Found Footage 3D (2016).
