53 | In honor of our 1 anniversary, I'm sharing a few things I've learned from my mans. Year 1 was not all rainbows and butterflies but that's life, and I wouldn't want to do life with anyone else.

50 | Expanding on a few thoughts I had this week. Inspired by the reality TV I'm watching and the never-ending home renovation we're going through.

49 | "Getting out of your own way" is a piece of advice I've heard many many times, but how do we actually do it?
Speaking from the heart on this week's episode about why I decided to take 3 months off the podcast and why it was time to come back!

48 | Winter has fully set in, the holiday glow has faded and we have several weeks before we can even start to anticipate Spring. It's natural to feel a little down and low energy in the thick of the winter. What would it look like to embrace Winter? What would it feel like to lean into the slowness and the darkness and make something special of the season that can be a bit unlikable?
Over the years I've come to look forward to certain things about the winter, and I've come up with ways to support my mood because if I don't intentionally counteract the effects that winter can have on me, it can be a painful season.
Listen to this episode if you're looking for ways to enjoy the Winter season or need ideas to treat yourself on a down day. I'm sharing my own ideas and several that you shared with me too!

Sara

There’s nothing like a life chat with a best friend am I right?
Stephanie Mikuls is a photographer in Denver, Colorado and she’s introspective like us. Steph and I sit down to chat about real personal growth — the tools that help, the mindsets that shift, and what it actually looks like uncover and follow your authentic self.
Not from a self-help professional’s point of view but from 2 people who try their best to find balance, enjoy life, and live in a way that reflects their true nature.
After connecting on similar struggles in our journeys, it's a true joy to sit here and record this episode from a completely different headspace compared to 5 years ago, proving that growth is possible, even when you think it’s not.

46 | Tis the season for personal growth! New Years can be such a great time to reset and really think about areas of life we'd like to improve, and we all have different systems for setting goals and making plans.
I'm sharing what I did this year to map out my intentions, NOT resolutions -- we talk about the difference in this episode too.
Cheers loves, lets make 2022 a good one, even if it ends up being a hard one (but hopefully it's just a good one)

45 | In this weeks episode I'm letting you in on how home renovations are *actually* going, and what I've found definitively does NOT help when trying to navigate a stressful season.
It would be inauthentic for me to talk through a bunch of things to do to make seasons like this easier. But I believe that sometimes there's just a lot going on and we have to roll with it. I've been trying to let go of the need to control, but I haven't done it perfectly (or even close).
This episode is an honest reflection on how we might realistically navigate a tough season, and all the things I've tried that definitely don't help.
(If you're new -- my shiny new hubby and I closed on a duplex the week before our wedding and we're spending this entire year fixing it up for renters)

44 | In this episode I'm sharing 11 unpopular opinions I have about food, sports, making your bed, and lots more (Yikes). This is a fun chatty episode, like talking to a friend while you do your chores or cook dinner. Enjoy ☺️
