The Terry and Jesse Show – Virgin Most Powerful Radio

Science and Nature - what does this have to do with Fatima? Wartime, terrorism, natural disasters - what do these things have to do with Fatima? Fatima's own Miracle of the Sun proves that the Mother of God can take something, like the sun, and make it her plaything. If we entrust the Nature around us by doing penance to Our Lord, Mary will offer us ultimate protection. Wars, natural disasters, and terrorism can all be prevented by our Mother. In the Fatima apparitions, we can hear the conditions of peace, if only we listen to our Mother when she says "Do what He tells you".

Today's Topics:

1) Gospel - Jn 15:9-17 - Jesus said to His disciples: “As the Father loves Me, so I also love you. Remain in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.

“I have told you this so that My joy might be in you and your joy might be complete. This is My commandment: love one another as I love you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from My Father. It was not you who chose Me, but I Who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name He may give you. This I command you:  love one another.”

It's always story time with Father Charles Murr on The Terry and Jesse Show as he tells the tales from deep within the Catholic Church. Join Terry Barber as we celebrate the anniversary of Father Charles Murr's Ordination and how the Mass transformed his life. Father Murr explains why he chose May 13th as his ordination date. Barber and Murr explain how they came to have the same spiritual director who has previously been featured on The Terry and Jesse Show, Father William Wagner.

Barber later asked Father Murr, a veteran priest, to give his take on the state of the Catholic Church today.

Today's Topics:

1, 2, 3, 4) Gospel - Jn 16:29-33 - The disciples said to Jesus, “Now you are talking plainly, and not in any figure of speech. Now we realize that You know everything and that You do not need to have anyone question You.

Because of this we believe that You came from God.” Jesus answered them, “Do you believe now? Behold, the hour is coming and has arrived when each of you will be scattered to his own home and you will leave Me alone. But I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. I have told you this so that you might have peace in Me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.”

Bishop Sheen quote of the day

This expression succinctly denotes that it is not enough that the evil one pushes creation towards redefinition or destruction.  He desires to do it in a manner that denigrates, apes and makes a mockery of all aspects of God’s plan.  In all ways it is insidious.  It is also a reality check, and at times, potentially humorous for those paying attention.

Today's Topics:

1) Gospel - John 16:20-23 - Jesus said to His disciples: "Amen, amen, I say to you, you will weep and mourn,

while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy. When a woman is in labor, she is in anguish because her hour has arrived; but when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the pain because of her joy that a child has been born into the world. So you also are now in anguish. But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. On that day you will not question Me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My Name He will give you."

Today's Topics:

1) Gospel - Mk 16:15-20 - Jesus said to His disciples: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who believe: in My Name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents with their hands, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

So then the Lord Jesus, after He spoke to them, was taken up into heaven and took His seat at the right Hand of God. But they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through accompanying signs.

How can sleep affect our mental health? How does mental health affect our prayer life? Only until very recently, there was little scientific research to back this idea up – and as a result, sleep treatments have been overlooked as a potential remedy for poor mental health and lack of focus in prayer. Join Dr. Luis Sandoval, a Catholic Psychiatrist, to promote the importance of sleep.

Does sleep deprivation lead to suicide? There are a lot of reasons that someone might take their life and we don’t always have the answers as to why. In this article, this mother believes that sleep deprivation let her son taking his life:

Today's Topics:

1) Gospel - Jn 16:12-15 - Jesus said to His disciples: "I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.

But when He comes, the Spirit of truth, He will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. He will glorify Me, because He will take from what is Mine and declare it to you. Everything that the Father has is Mine; for this reason I told you that He will take from what is Mine and declare it to you."

It is a crazy fact of our time but people have seemed to stop having babies. Is this all part of the Diabolical Elite's agenda for population control? Has the decades' worth of propaganda worked? Is life no longer precious? These are just some of the questions that arise when Paul Clay and Terry Barber discuss the lack of babies and traditional families amongst the newer generations. Barber and Clay rely on a not-so-popular teaching of the Catholic Church to "be fruitful and multiply".

Today's Topics:

1,2 3, 4) Gospel - Jn 16:5-11 - Jesus said to His disciples: "Now I am going to the One Who sent Me, and not one of you asks Me, 'Where are You going?' But because I told you this, grief has filled your hearts. But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go. For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you. And when He comes He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation: sin, because they do not believe in Me; righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; condemnation, because the ruler of this world has been condemned."

Paul Clay joins Terry to discuss the declining birth rate and its solutions through God and His Church

Bishop Sheen quote of the day

Father Charles Murr comes to Virgin Most Powerful Radio to join Terry Barber on The Terry and Jesse Show to talk about the latest 17-page article which details all the scandalous statements made by Pope Francis throughout his papacy. Adding anecdotal evidence they relate Pope Francis' actions to an agenda of modernism. Previous episodes stated Modernism as the biggest threat to the Catholic Church. Murr and Barber later bring up Bishop Joseph Strickland's Letter to the Laity and react to his statements. To protect the catholic church, Murr and Barber take a "problem-solution" approach, sharing with listeners how they can help Pope Francis fix the Church.

Today's Topics:

1, 2, 3, 4) Gospel - Jn 15:26—16:4a - Jesus said to His disciples: "When the Advocate comes Whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who proceeds from the Father, He will testify to Me. And you also testify

because you have been with Me from the beginning.

"I have told you this so that you may not fall away. They will expel you from the synagogues; in fact, the hour is coming when everyone who kills you will think he is offering worship to God. They will do this because they have not known either the Father or Me. I have told you this so that when their hour comes you may remember that I told you."

Father Murr joins Terry to discuss the monumental issues facing the Church and how each of us can help Pope Francis proclaim the truth of the Gospel

Today's Topics:

1) Gospel - Jn 14:6-14 - Jesus said to Thomas, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you know Me, then you will also know My Father. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him." Philip said to Him, "Master, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us." Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know Me, Philip?

Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own. The Father Who dwells in Me is doing His works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me, or else, believe because of the works themselves. Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in Me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask in My Name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of Me in My Name, I will do it."
