This guy, nicknamed "Kael" by our intrepid Dr. Evelyn Voss, has a pulse! And get this – he's coming back to life!
But here's where things get REALLY wild! Turns out, Kael isn't exactly human. He's a remnant of an ancient, advanced civilization that pre-dates recorded history – a civilization that was, wait for it, founded by aliens! And you won't believe what these aliens did! They tried to help early humans, sharing their technology and knowledge, hoping to guide us to a brighter future.
But, as we all know, humans can be a real mess. We screwed it all up, turning their gifts into weapons and waging war on each other. The aliens retreated underground, but we hunted them down, wiping them out. Kael? He's the last of his kind, a walking, talking warning from the past.
Now, a power-hungry scientist named Dr. Keller wants to exploit Kael and the secrets of his people. He wants to weaponize their technology, and he'll stop at nothing to get his hands on it!
Dr. Voss, seeing the good in Kael, risks everything to protect him. She even uses a prototype translation device based on salvaged alien tech to communicate with him. But it's too late! Keller's greed has triggered an alarm, and Kael's people – or what's left of them – have come back to Earth!
In a stunning display of power, they neutralize Keller and his goons, then whisk Kael and Voss away to their hidden underground city! This place is mind-blowing, folks, a futuristic metropolis untouched by time. But it's also a graveyard, a reminder of what we lost when we betrayed the aliens' trust.
Kael gives Voss a choice: the truth, or the life she knew before. What will she choose? And what does it all mean for humanity's future?
