I'll be the first to admit I've used my nutrition and training in a negative way. I've abused my body through overtraining. I've controlled my food to numb and make me feel like I have SOME control when my life felt out of control. But unfortunately, human beings aren't as black and white as calorie deficit. The internal narratives we tell ourselves can have a HUGE impact on our adherence and therefore our overall chances of being successful with fat loss.
