A local Charlotte artist, Dave Baysden has become heavily involved with and passionate about the game of golf over the last handful of years as his life as an artist has developed from a lifelong interest, to side gig, to full time show. Dave has particularly grown his passion for golf and his art business in tandem, painting some of the more interesting and creative pieces of different courses and golf landscapes I have seen. Among other styles, Dave has found his niche in watercolors, with a focus on golf courses in an abstract realism sort of style. He'll be headed to the tour this fall after a great season on the Korn Ferry Tour which placed him 13th on the season ending points list over the 2 year rolling schedule with the covid break in between. Brandon gives us a run down of what his pro path has looked like thus far as well as what he has focused on to continue to get better.
