Jubal was a 2 year captain and 4 year letter winner at Bucknell but now most of his golf has to come from his imagination due to the demands of a job in private equity. We break down how that has affected his relationship with game in both good and bad ways

A young face in the GCA space, Gray Carlton is a cool look into what some of the younger generation of the GCA industry thinks like. 

Fun to hear from someone who has such a fresh outlook on architecture and has grown up in the current renaissance we're seeing in the industry. Gray and Walker talk Lido, Renaissance Golf, getting into GCA as a young person, and much more. Already having spent time with some great architects on really neat projects, Gray has a bright future and will be a fun name to track going forth. This won't be the last time you hear from Gray at The Tie, so lookout for more with him down the road.

Let's run one this one back. Our first MBM on house theory didn't go quite as we had hoped, so we're going at it again to better communicate what on earth we're talking about when we liken golf holes and courses so much to this concept of "house theory." I think this one went a bit better so hopefully after this episode there is no confusion as to what this means. Remember, its Trigonometry, not calculus.

Excited for the timing of this episode as it will lead us into our new series "House Theory Thursday" which we will be bringing to you every other week where we will compare to different golf courses based on House Theory. Going to a be a blast. 

We're running to the finish line of this year before kicking it up even more in 2022. We appreciate everyone being along for the ride!

This week we got the chance to hear Emily Casey talk about her path into the turf world. 

Was it ordinary? No. Of course not. What fun would that be? 

After running a business at 24, selling it, and finding a little nook called flagstaff Arizona on a road trip- it became her new home.

A woman of many talents, Emily is only just beginning her story in turf. 

Led by superintendent Josh Cleavanger, her upward bound is exciting. 

We look forward to keeping up with her and hope her story will inspire other women to get into this space.
