On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Nich Fairbanks (@Prudentia0) for another edition of Fairbanks Friday. The two break down USA's 6-1 win over Finland where the American's broke through after Mike Sullivan decided to put Brady and Matthew Tkachuk on the same line. Finland got the first goal of the game, and played a structured game for the first 40 minutes. USA's power play was a struggle, but 5-on-5 play set the tone early on for them. Brady set the tone with his level of physicality, which made it a more physical game than what fans saw for Canada-Sweden on Wednesday. Finland held USA shotless for the first seven minutes of the second period, but a goal by Matt Boldy gave the American's the lead heading into the final frame. Not only did they have a lead, but they were on the power play to start, which they wasted no time lightning the lamp thanks to Matthew Tkachuk. It was one of his two power play goals on the evening, and even had a secondary assist on Brady Tkachuk's second goal of the game. USA scored three times in 2:45 to break the game open, and now are leading the table with three points after every team has completed one game.
