In order to fix a problem, one must be honest about the situation we face and that requires accurate language. Maybe it’s just me, but it sure seems like there is a lot of programming embedded in the language we use to describe our government’s actions. For instance, consider our “debt limit” or “ceiling.” Our what?

. . . we don’t have a “debt limit.” That is a a feel-good fiction The Party has created. So, if the Freedom Caucus is who they say there are, they will need to to with the budget debate what they did with the vote for Speaker. THEY will need to be the debt limit.

“The FDA” sets food and drug safety standards. Uh, no. It does not. We do not have a body that does that at the federal level. If a thing in government is the opposite of what that thing has named itself, that thing should be defended and dismantled

The Lord abhors human pride. I believe that is because it will act to separate us from God, the Maker and Provider of all we have.
