I will take any excuse to have my favorite Substack writer on the program and this is a great one! Chris Bray [subscribe to his Subtsack! https://chrisbray.substack.com/] tells us the real reason why Amazon, CVS and Humana are purchasing primary care medical clinics (hint: it’s not because of their deep desire to help humans achieve better health and happiness.

What does God say?

We are called to provide care for the body, which was then a new view for religious people. After Pentecost, one of the first jobs assigned to members of the church was to “care for the Greek widows.” The teachings of Jesus lead, in fact, to the first hospitals, founded by the Christian church.

Acts 6:1-7

6 In those days when the number of disciples was increasing, the Hellenistic Jews among them complained against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. 2 So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, “It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables. 3 Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them 4 and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.”

5 This proposal pleased the whole group. They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit; also Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas from Antioch, a convert to Judaism. 6 They presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.

There is nothing wrong with doctors being paid--Luke was a Doctor--but, as in all things, the motive matters.

It’s comforting to believe our politicians and their bosses are just bumbling and stupid and the result is chaos from incompetence. But, that’s not true. Simple regression analysis and pattern recognition indicate that we are not seeing chaos, we are watching a well laid plan. I have mentioned this from time to time, in this episode, I fully explain it using current news as examples. We have not forgotten how to secure a border, in fact, we just promised to pay to enhance them for other countries; our border is open to flood our country with people who need access to our treasury. The schools are not in chaos, everything the unions are pushing are about tearing down families and faith. The FBI isn’t incapable of seeking to arrest the actual January 6 breach team, they don’t want to arrest them and that tells us the FBI is protecting them.

What does God say?

The Lord places things in order. He is the furthest thing from chaotic. Consider the order in His creation of all things.

The Seattle “Public” Schools is suing social media companies for making kids mentally ill and unhappy. Yep - these ARE the same “schools” that work to make kids happy by teaching then they are walking disease bags with no biological sex, who are are either vile racists or helpless victims racism . . . that is, of course, when they even allow kids in the buildings. That is a happiness con. A coalition of mental health providers released a study that said some of the factors that cause depression and suicidal intent in people--especially young people--are, no strong family connections, no mission greater than self and no “authoritative community” that promotes consistent morals and principles. Can we all put our heads together and think of another name for an “authoritative community” that teachers consistent morals and principles that emphasizes family and mission greater than self? But, make sure you don’t say the c-word. Church.

Hebrews 3:12-13

. . . in this Episode, I am actually responding live-time to the vessel and I cannot tell you how weird it was for me to have a show go entirely where I didn’t intend (unlike the shows I feel suddenly called to record). But, here’s an inside view of why that may have occurred. I have been in prayer about hiring a producer and a writer and building a proper studio in town. The Lord told us through the Prophet Isaiah that He does prepare for fallen nations cups of wrath and, eventually, those cups pour out on us. As you read this, consider the streets of San Francisco, Portland and Seattle.

Governments are now installing “media literacy” courses into schools for all ages. This is not only unnecessary--critical thinking skills, a return to factual analysis, and removing groomers from schools would more than suffice--these classes are the opposite of media literacy. Take, for instance, the very article that announced the Governor of New Jersey signing one such act into law. In that article we learn: the Governor has no political party (not true); America’s form of governance is “democracy” (not true) and we get this lovely paragraph

“The bipartisan bill requires the state’s education commissioner to empanel a committee that includes library media specialists and educators to draft learning standards that must teach students how to differentiate fact and opinion, use library resources to find scholarly articles, and understand economic, social, and legal factors related to the use of information.”

So, we have one person--a commissioner--who will empanel librarians, no doubt members of the library union that promotes sexually perverted men who imagine they are women dressed as cartoon prostitute-strippers twerking for kids--teaching kids how to discern “fact” versus opinion. To do that, they will turn solely to “scholarly articles” . . . from the same academia that pretends men are women; if you are white you are racist; maks work and America was founded in 1619 to the express purpose of being a slave nation.

What they want, of course, is to make their opinions into truth itself. That’s why they will ultimately fail.
