The news keeps reporting that those crossing the border are being released because of a lack of detention space. NOT TRUE. The NWIPC in Tacoma currently has less that 300 in spite of a capacity of 1500.  This is true of most of the detention facilities. They have chosen to NOT detain recent arrivals. It has been that way since Biden took office.
