One of the areas most hit by the Covid Pandemic is travel; both internally and externally.

Airlines are running at a fraction of their capacity, trains are far from full and only this week Bus Eireann announced the cutting of four of its express services.

Economist Colm McCarthy thinks that although we're in the midst of a world-wide pandemic there are things the government could be doing differently for the benefit of the transport system.
