In December 2024, Urfan Sharif along with his wife Bainash Batool and brother Faisal Malik went to prison for their roles in the murder of 10-year-old Sara Sharif. 

This followed a 10-week trial at the Old Bailey where jurors and journalists were in tears when they heard in horrifying detail the abuse Sara suffered at the hands of her family members. In this episode Andy Jehring is joined by the Daily Mail’s crime and security editor Rebecca Camber who covered the trial for the paper.
