Laurie Arrowsmith is a mindful holistic counsellor who started the Mindful Institute so that similar minded people could experience the life-changing power of meditation and holistic health. Laurie lived with depression and anxiety for most of her 30s and frequented the offices of different psychologists, psychiatrists, and traditional counsellors, with little to no effect on her ill-mental health. It wasn't until Laurie turned to a more holistic approach to her health, that she started making profound leaps forward in her mental health and wellbeing. Laurie has a particular interest in parenting, having worked with 100s of parents to support them through some of the many challenges posed by parenthood.

Jamie Vaughn is a retired school teacher, bonus mom of 3 adult children, wife, dog mom, and “Glamma” to 2 granddaughters. She is also a breast cancer survivor and advocate through her podcast and nonprofit, Test Those Breasts™. She is a survivor and "thriver" who talks about her journey to anyone who will listen because she knows that people need to hear it and that early detection is the key to a better outcome. She also holds a lot of space for others who are currently traveling this road. Urvina & Anjali are co-founders of UKAN Coaching specializing in aligning mid-professional women to careers they want and enjoy with confidence.

They met through a disability group that Urvina setup in their community around 13 years ago which is still going strong.

Urvina: Having worked in the NHS for 27 years as a Therapeutic radiographer and as Clinical Practice educator, a role that Urvina loved, until the last few years, a restructure in her organisation caused her role to come to a sudden end.
Many questions arose in her about what to do next, where to go next, who would employ her at her age and were her skills good enough.
One thing was certain…she knew she could mentor and coach, having done this for 15 years and also knew she did not want to work in the NHS anymore.
This led her to embark on a new career at the age of 50!

Anjali: Having worked as a Finance professional in the Corporate sector for 17 years, Anjali is well versed with the challenges of navigating high-pressure environments, organisational hierarchies,  and becoming complacent in achieving career progress.
 She was able to break through the complacency with Coaching which led her on to her own journey of becoming an Executive coach to help others facing the same situation to shift their career with clarity and confidence. 
She is also a passionate badminton player and coach with a mission to inspire more girls/women to take up the sport.

Their approach is based on their personal journey and experiences within their respective careers, using their own systems to transform careers from stagnation to ascension.
