Angelo, Jay, and Rhea are back with a long discussion about the unbelievable debacle of a fight that Netflix (tried to) air on Friday night. From technical difficulties, to bizarre choices of announces (Rosie Perez!?), all the way up to and including that joke of a sanctioned fight, the gang breaks down every single one of the 1001 errors Netflix made.
Then, it's a discussion of Red One its absolute catastrophe of an opening weekend. Earning only $32 million on a budget of a quarter of a billion dollars, Angelo, Jay, and Rhea needed to discuss whether we can still consider Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson a legitimate movie star.
All that PLUS British Corner, Angelo's deep dive into AMC+, a review of Tulsa King, and EVEN MORE GREAT CONTENT.
It's the fastest 30 minute podcast you'll listen to all week!

Angelo, Rhea, and Jay are back to discuss the absolute ABOMINABLE treatment that David Zaslav has inflicted on Clint Eastwood by dumping Juror #2 into 50 screens for an embarrassingly small limited run before coming to streamers in December. Angelo has a review of the movie and a well-deserved tongue-lashing of everybody's least favorite studio executive.
Then, the gang discuss the new documentary on Netflix, Dirty Pop, which tells the story of Lou Perlman and the boy bands that he discovered and helped blossom into stardom. At issue is the documentary's controversial use of an AI-generated Perlman programmed to look and sound exactly like the real one, reciting Perlman's own words from his autobiography. Is this an acceptable use of technology? Or is it another sign that we're headed even further into a world where you can't even trust your eyes.
All that PLUS: British and Teen Corner, a discussion of Kevin Costner's last days on Yellowstone, and the rise of The Great Sports Debate.

Angelo, Rhea, and Jay are back with an in-depth discussion of the new Robert Zemeckis/Tom Hanks/Robin Wright movie Here. First, the gang has a talk about the controversial use of technology to de-age actors and whether or not that helps or hurts a movie. Then, Jay gives his review of the movie and the gimmick at its heart (a static camera, never moving, through entire picture).
THEN, The World Series scored monster ratings this year and the crew breaks down what the reasons for this were. Was it just because LA and New York are such big markets? Is it star power? Gambling? The Pitch Clock? All of the above? As always, it's never a simple answer.
ALL THAT, PLUS: British Corner, a review of Venon: The Last Dance, a review of the new Martha Stewart documentary, and much MUCH MORE!

Angelo, Jay, and Rhea are back and as promised, Jay is giving his list of the 5 worst things about TV (and movies). Jay is the show's Pollyanna, seemingly happy just to be watching moving images on the screen: can he actually find five things he hates? Will you agree with them if he can?
And then, a discussion about the steamy new episode of Disclaimer leads into a conversation about the point of sex scenes and why Gen Z seem to be rejecting them.
All that PLUS: British corner, a discussion of Ryan Girdusky's disastrous CNN appearance, and a review of the fantastic new documentary No One Died.

Angelo, Jay, and Rhea are back to discuss the question that's been on everyone's mind through all one hundred and eleven episodes of the show: Does Angelo Cataldi have a heart?! Well, Angelo's here with his review of The Wild Robot and the answer might shock you! (SPOILER: it won't.)
Then, the gang discusses the onslaught of SNL guest stars taking on the roles of political figures in the run-up to the election and whether or not that harms the show going forward.
All that, PLUS: a discussion of Conan O'Brien's worst day, reviews of Anatomy of Lies and the LISTENER SUGGESTED F is For Family, as well as British Corner and MUCH MUCH MORE.
You gotta listen to this episode!!

Angelo, Rhea, and Jay are back to discuss Nick Sirianni's silly shenanigans, making angry gestures at the fans and then hiding behind his kids at the press conference. What other great TV moments about sports weren't captured on the field of play, but by buffoonery on the sidelines (or off of the field completely).
Then, the gang discusses their favorite topic: David Zaslav and his slow but sure dismantling of the once storied studio, Warner Bros. From dumping Clint Eastwood's new movie into only 50 theaters to being so hated by Christopher Nolan that Warner Bros wasn't even allowed to bid on his latest movie, could Zaslav be any worse for the company if he tried!?
PLUS: Rhea has British and Teen corner, Angelo makes another impassioned pleas for Wentworth and Jay wonders if the news that Direct TV bought DISH for $1 means the death of Satellite TV forever.

Angelo, Jay, and Rhea are back to discuss the absolutely horrible debut of Joker 2, which somehow cost $200 million and only made $37 million on its opening weekend. Is this the biggest bomb in terms of box office performance as compared to anticipation? Just a few months ago, this was the can't-miss hit of the fall season, and now... nothing!
THEN, the gang discusses the start of the baseball playoffs on the heels of news that 11 of the teams in the MLB have LOST their cable partners for the 2025 season. Is baseball doomed? Can it survive in a world where cable TV is slowly dying?
All the PLUS: British corner with Rhea Hughes, Jay's review of The Wild Robot, AND: GIGANTIC NEWS FROM ANGELO.
You'll have to listen to find out what it is!!

Angelo, Jay, and Rhea are back to review the riveting new Vince McMahon documentary on Netflix, Mr. McMahon. Is it possible to play a creep convincingly for so many years without actually being a creep? (SPOILER ALERT: NO)
Then, the gang discusses reports that a nearly 80-year-old Lorne Michaels wants to continue producing SNL despite the 50th season being the perfect stopping point for him and a chance to bring in some new blood. When is the right time to retire?
Speaking of retiring, Jay reviews the incomprehensible slog of Megalopolis, which even saying that, he still thinks you should go and see. Yeah, we don't get it either.
All that, PLUS: British Corner, a review of Nobody Wants This, and a special interview with wrestling expert, Vinnie Nardiello!

Angelo, Rhea, and Jay are back to discuss the INSANE amount of money that NBC is paying Chris Collinsworth through 2030. He's the least-loved color commentator in all of sports, so why is he worth so much money?
Then, it's a discussion of the new Vince McMahon documentary that also leads into a discussion of RFK Jr. and Olivia Nuzzi: can you hide your scuzziness from the public if you're on TV all the time? The gang doesn't think so.
ALL THAT PLUS: British Corner (with EXTRA BONUS DISCUSSION), a review of the new ABC show High Potential, and a look at what Jay thinks is the best TV Show of the fall season: Agatha All Along.
It's another action-packed episode that you won't want to miss!

Angelo, Jay, and Rhea are back to discuss all the goings on at the Emmys, including how the Eugene and Dan Levy did as hosts, the simmering heat between Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri, and the dumb move to cut off John Oliver in the middle of a moving story about his dog.
Then, the gang talks about Jay's daughter, who is currently being taught the first season of Lost in her English class. What other TV shows are worthy of the classroom experience? Angelo, Jay, and Rhea give their opinions and then ask you for yours!
All that PLUS: British Corner, a review of the listener-suggested Once Upon a Time, a deep dive into the Late Night TV landscape, and a review of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
It's way too much TV to fit in one half hour, but somehow we manage!
