Despite all of the critical and commercial success- Hereditary saw little to no recognition in the award circuit. Hereditary achieved what very few horror films achieve nowadays. It gave us a solid story with phenomenal acting that still made you want to sleep with a nite light (I NEEDED IT OKAY)

So what happened? The ingredients were all there and it seemed that Hereditary had the recipe for success to pick up where Get Out left off and really remind people that power of horror.

The Social Nework is one of the best movies of 2010 if not THE best movie of the decade thus far. 

The 83rd Academy Awards is infamously remembered for getting it completely wrong. 

Episode 21 we are talking about what went wrong that fateful night how on Earth the academy could have screwed up such an obvious winner.

Arrival was a huge fan favorite in 2016, but a movie about aliens visiting Earth to teach us their language was only enough to take one award that season.

Yes, a poor RT score isn't always accurate, BUT, we can't help but wonder why this movie fell so short in so many people's eyes. I mean, Soderbergh said that it was his favorite of his trilogy, plus, theres a really badass laser dance scene with an even more badass song. (Thanks Le Caution)
