On this episode I am joined by current broadcaster and basketball reporter for ESPN, host of 'Nothing But Net' covering all things NBA, Boomers, Opals and the NBL, one of the best young broadcasters in any sport we've got in this country, it's Kane Pitman.

The resurgence of Aussie boxing and the rise of the NBL happened at eerily similar times, with some crossovers in common but also many things the NBL did right and Aussie boxing has failed to learn from. Kane lays out the timeline for us and retraces the steps the NBL took to take itself off life support and build itself back in to a thriving world-class league.

4 years have flown by and it's been too long since catching up with boxing-lifer, manager, current matchmaker for Tasman Fighters and all-around top bloke, Matt Clark!

Matt was in the building for Crocker/Paro so we start getting his thoughts from inside the venue on a piece of Aussie boxing history, we also recap Boots Ennis' sensational win over Xander Zayas and some of the undercard action, offer our thoughts on the fights from the day of recording: Mason/Bell and Carrington/Palacios, was it a knockdown???

We jump in to the July 20th even from Tasman Fighters, how Matt constructed the card, thoughts on Max McIntyre and his development so far, Matt's matchmaking strategy more broadly, acquiring and matching Jason Moloney recently and what we can expect from Tasman for the rest of '26.

It's Xander Zayas Vs. Jaron "Boots" Ennis fight week, finally! So, joining us all the way from Boots Ennis territory, it's returning mate of the show Eric Raskin!

Before we get to the 154lb banger, Eric just spent time in Canastota at the latest IBHOF induction ceremony, of course I want to know all about that, we are also about 36 hours away at time of recording from Lewis Crocker Vs. Liam Paro for the IBF Welterweight Title, does this fight have any interest overseas?

What might, is the fact that Errol Spence, Jermall Charlo and Stephen 'Cool Boy' Fulton are all fighting in Sydney next month, Eric let's us know his thoughts before he fills us in on his new role at The Good Fight and the return of the original boxing podcast, Ring Theory 2.0.

It was then time to jump in to the Zayas/Boots fight and u/card, we play round 4 of The Fight Game and finish things off breaking down the monumental 50th season of Survivor. Also, as is customary at this point, there was more too!

The beginning of May was the highlight of the boxing month, so no better time to turn back the clock and dive in to it all and joining me from the UK is longtime boxing writer and contributor, Declan Warrington.

We cast our minds back to an incredible weekend that featured Naoya Inoue defending his Undisputed Super Bantamweight Title against fellow P4P'er Junto Nakatani and David Benevidez obliterating Zurdo Ramirez to claim two pieces of the title at 200lbs.

Declan was on the scene in Manchester for Wardley V Dubois, break it all down for me from his ringside vantage point and also provides come more context around the shocking upset KO Zak Chelli scored against the much more fancied David Morrell.

We also discuss Matchroom's expansion in to Aus, Declan's thoughts on the Aussie boxing scene from his time spent here from Nov '25 to Feb '26, the unfortunate ending of his (and many colleagues) time at BoxingScene and what is next for him in a professional sense.

We finish by previewing this weekends Usyk/Verhoeven card, Andrew Moloney's upcoming world title shot in Japan, Zuffa boxing's debut in the UK and the recently announced Ryan Garcia Vs. Conor Benn fight, will it happen? Who knows!
