On the cusp of a potentially historic weekend for Aussie boxing in the fight capital overseas, who better to break it all down with than fan favourite mate of the show, Morning Kombat's, Brian Campbell!
BC and I dive in the deep end on all things PBC on Amazon Prime's debut show, Tim Tszyu V Sebastian Fundora, Rolly Romero V Issac Cruz, Erislandy Lara V Michael Zerafa and Brian Mendoza V Serhii Bohachuk and there's no chcance we forgot about the night before, with Oscar Valdez V Liam Wilson contesting for an interim title in what surely will be a banger. BC analyses fights in a way very few can, somehow got me even more pumped for fight night and I'm sure it'll get you pumped too, if that's possible.
Brian also gave us all the updates for the upcoming re-launch of Morning Kombat, which will hit the ground running in early April, of course we had to finish off with some Survivor chat and much, much more along the way.

Let's let that sink in….
Al joins me on Episode 64 to chat about writing his recent article for The Ring about the current Heavyweight era finally nearing it's crescendo (link to article below), his thoughts and recollections on this era, his entry in to the boxing industry, how he got started as a ringside commentator, his commentary style, his adaptability working with different on and off air talent/outlets etc, his wild lone experience being a part of the Triller PPV series, his induction in to the IBHOF, we discuss the Aussies on the bill in America at the end of March and Al let's us know what his favourite TV series of all time is (it may surprise you) and much, much more!

Sometimes you have to pivot, from a scheduled Knuckle Down for Opetaia/Breidis 2, to a full news/broadcast-style breakdown, Aussie and world boxing never let us sit on our hands for too long and who better to jump in the deep end with for it all than the Aussie Boxing Scribe himself, Anthony Cocks.
Tony and I jump in to all things ACE/7+, Stan, DAZN and Foxtel/Kayo in what has the potential to be a historically great Australian boxing broadcast scene, we also take a little more of an overseas flavour in terms of results and upcoming fights starting with the triple header live from Japan this coming Saturday night working our way through to the end of March and the mini-Aussie invasion in Arizona and Las Vegas. We also got to some more stuff too, tangent style, plus much, much more!

We back! TUSC Pod returns to kick off 2024 with an all (mostly) Aussie first quarter preview and when we talking Aussie Boxing, one of my favourite guys to break it all down with is CODE Sports senior combat sports writer and regular at ringside each fight night, returning mate of the show Brendan Bradford.
BB and I got to pretty much all of it, Jason Moloney and Rohan Murdock in Canada, Jai Opetaia's rescheduled rematch with Breidis, "March Mayhem", Wade Ryan, The Barking Dog Cup, fantasy matchups, Wilson, Zerafa, Tszyu and plenty of tangents along the way!

December is so packed, you know I had to fit one more pod in for the year!
Once again, from the phone style message group to the pod, two of the best boxing writers in the world, Anthony Cocks (The Ring, Ringnews24) & Liahm O'Brien (The Inner Sanctum) join me to break down all the action abroad and at home.
Easy breakdown this time guys, we started at December 1st and talked about all the results/upcoming fights until December 31st plus, as always, much more!
'23 has been a GREAT boxing year and a tonne of fun on this pod, appreciate all the support!

51 episodes later and we are back at it again with sometimes podcaster and writer, longtime boxing manager, talent scout and promoter, Mike Altamura.
Mike joins me to break down all things Biggs/Tszyu and the standout moments from the undercard, I pick Mike's brain about his Aussie based stable of fighters, throw a few curly questions at Mike that only he is uniquely qualified to answer, get Mike's thoughts on the fights he's most excited for in December (which is STACKED) and much, much more..
There is a thoughtful purposeness when Mike speaks and I immensely enjoyed being able to absorb his thoughts and knowledge, truly the perspective of a boxing lifer and a man doing it for the right reasons, enjoy!
