It's not officially Opetaia V Thompson fight week at the time of recording this episode, but seeing as 'unofficial' is in the show name, it may as well be, so with that in mind I was joined on this episode by former Australian Olympian and Commonwealth Games representative, promoter, host & creator of Boxing Deep Dive, Lynden Hosking to break it all down.
I picked Lynden's brain on some eagerly anticipated matchups starting with Opetaia V Thompson but we also got to Canelo V Charlo (+ u/card) and of course we can't reference Charlo without talking Tim Tszyu and his massive fight with Brian Mendoza in a few weeks time.
We also dived in to Lynden's time representing Australia at the highest level in the Olympics and Commonwealth Games, his decision to not turn pro, his path to promoting, the origin and future plans of Boxing Deep Dive and we also discuss our thoughts on the TV broadcast landscape domestically.
We cap it off by reviewing the recent ACE Boxing card from Sept 9th and the No Limit show from Sept 13th in what was a massively enjoyable chat!

Some Aussie domestic results to break down, some HUGE fights to preview and a little boxing trivia mixed in the middle. If that's what you're in to, Ep. 57 with boxing writers and returning mates of the show Anthony Cocks and Liahm O'Brien will be up your alley!
No Limit's 4 event run culminating in the (dubious) PPV co-feature of Nik Tszyu v Jack Brubaker/Liam Wilson v Carlos Alaniz, was it a low blow? (you know what we're talking about), Minimumweight and where Alex Winwood fits, Tszyu V Mendoza, some boxing-related trivia, September 9th ACE show, Opetaia V Thompson and Canelo V Charlo, Anthony, Liahm and I got to it all in a wide ranging, mega fun chat.

Fresh off Sam Goodman's brilliant victory over the game as hell Ra'eese Aleem, Tim Tszyu's demolition job and a recent Aussie presence on ShoBox, longtime boxing media member and co-host of the official Showtime Boxing Podcast, Eric Raskin, joins me to break it all down.
Straight off the bat I chat to Eric about the double header that aired on Showtime in the US, I also picked Eric's brain about Regis Prograis' first title defence, the recent Aussie presence on ShoBox, OF COURSE we chat Spence/Crawford, I also ask Eric about some of his previous work on the old HBO Boxing podcast, we play a round of the boxing trivia game that Eric invented 'The Fight Game' and we also chat Survivor, because as if there isn't massive boxing and Survivor crossover and much, much more!

We are back to kick off the start of a double world title back-to-back weekend stretch for the Moloney's, so there has never been a better time to pull the old Knuckle Down team back together, beginning with Jason Moloney V Vincent Astrolabio for the WBO Bantamweight Title!
As is tradition, the Aussie Boxing Scribe himself, Anthony Cocks, joins me to break it all down in as many ways as we possibly could. Astrolabio's strengths and weaknesses, Jason's recent form, the style clash, how we think the fight will play out and we conclude with our predictions.
Anthony and I also have a chat about Stevie Spark's controversial loss, Canelo V Ryder, fight news including Sam Goodman V Ra'eese Aleem and Liam Paro V Regis Prograis , the next No Limit show and much, much more!

On the cusp of a HUGE fight week and only one card on my mind, I enlisted the help of the Poetic Violence boxing podcast host and massive boxing fan James Gorman to break it all down!
James and I tackle the card from top to bottom, fight by fight, the only way a card like this deserves.
We also share our thoughts on the entree Brock Jarvis headlined card and the baffling, non-televised Paul fleming headlined card on Wednesday 15th March.

We are back to kick off TUSC pod in '23 with one of our most requested guests ever, co-host of Morning Kombat on Showtime Digital/YouTube, member of the ShoBox broadcast team on Showtime, CBS Sports analyst and the brainchild of the much loved (and on 'hiatus') State of Combat boxing podcast, BC is back, it's Brian Campbell.
BC helps me get pumped for this new year in boxing by breaking down the massive Tim Tszyu v Tony Harrison & Emmanuel Navarette V Liam Wilson world title fights, well for the latter at least, talks us through his time being welcomed in as part of the ShoBox broadcast team and the most recent ShoBox event, Morning Kombat's first visit to the UK for an upcoming live show, his thoughts on the rumoured mouth-watering 'Cool Boy' Steph Fulton V Naoya Inoue fight at Super Bantamweight and the recently confirmed and official David Benevidez V Caleb Plant fight, BC also sets me straight on Survivor and much, much more! (seriously, heaps more!)
