Ebikes known as "Fatbikes" have become the scourge of the cycling path in the Netherlands, with teens joyriding them through the city at high speed. There are regular news articles about the problems with fatbikes and their young riders and the city of Amsterdam has even started to ban them from certain locations. But did anybody stop to check if any of this was actually true? One group of researchered at the University of Amsterdam decided to find out.
